“Skye? Are you alright?” I hear Hunter call out from outside the bathroom. I’m about to answer him, but another wave of puke stops me. I dry heave into the toilet bowl due to lack of food in my stomach.

“Skye?” Hunter repeats, increasingly worried.

“I- I’m fine.” I cough up, panting in exertion as I flush the toilet and walk up to the sink to brush my teeth. I need to get rid of that horrid acid taste in my mouth.

“You don’t sound fine, love. Can I come in?”

“No. I’ll be right out.”

“Okay, I’ll wait here.” I only sigh at this. Hunter’s been really overprotective lately and has barely left me alone, unless it was with his mother. She’s been training me and Pearl, my wolf every day, that’s of course when I felt good enough to train. Lately I’ve been feeling awful, so we had to postpone our training.
