010: Tales of old

Isabella had no idea just how far Nightingale was far but she was never anticipating for it to be this far.

They had spent three days on the road - stopping to camp when night fell and starting the journey all over again when it was morning.’

This was the fourth day and she really was tired of sleeping in bushes and submitting herself to the harshness of mosquitoes.

She needed proper, beautiful rest that was beyond the three hours they steal at night and she needed a proper bath, and a proper bed to lay on.

“We are almost home, Bee.” Her brother said with a grin when he noticed her frown but she only rolled her eyes.

“You said that yesterday -” She grumbled squeezing up her nose, “and the day before yesterday.”

Jay laughed, ‘True but I mean it this time. Once we get through the gates of the ruins it will only take a couple of hours before we are in Nightingale.”

She nodded although she held her breath or hope on that.
