I sighed as I walked alongside Angela and Seira through the bustling streets of the shopping district.

I had never been a fan of shopping, and doing it with my sister-in-law felt like nothing short of torture.

Apparently it's a week until my father-in-law's birthday, so I had to tag along to get him a gift.

Angela had bugged me until she managed to convince me before I agreed to come with her.

"I can't believe we're doing this," I said, trying to hide my reluctance.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into this, but we really need to. Come on, it's a family tradition that you don't want to miss out on."

She says she is trying to sound convincing.

"Yeah, because nothing says quality time like fighting over prices and waiting in lines," I muttered under my breath.

Sierra chuckled. "fighting? Waiting?"

She questions me like I said the most absurd thing before walking inside the shop.

"Come, Lyra, you'll see," Angela says, pulling me into one of the shops.
