Lyra.

"Come," he motioned for me to come take a seat next to him.

My brows furrowed as I was a bit sceptical, unsure of why he would want that. Just a few weeks ago, he was thinking of all shades to end me.

"Please." His voice came yet again, snapping me back to reality.

He took me by surprise when he pleaded for something he had never done.

I nodded, taking the seat opposite him. I didn't miss the chuckle that slipped from his lips, causing me to roll my eyes.

"What?" I question the boring look.

"I want us to have a tall Lyra."

"You can go ahead."

He remained silent for a second before he cleared his throat. "Look, I know we started off at the wrong place, and I had treated you so badly, which I wish I could take back as you didn't deserve it. Just like I was forced into this, so were you."

My left brow arched up in surprise. What was happening to Sage? This sounds so unlike him, and why was he all of a sudden so interested in setting out differences?
