138: Dismissed elders

Killian’s POV

The sun had barely risen when I decided it was time to confront the elders. It was a pivotal day, one that would determine the future course of our pack. With resolve, I called for a meeting with the cabinet elders, knowing that the truth would soon come to light.

As I entered the council chamber, eleven elders were already seated, their faces a mix of curiosity and suspicion. I could feel the weight of their eyes on me, scrutinizing my every move. Taking a deep breath, I addressed them with a calm but authoritative voice.

"Thank you all for coming on such short notice," I began, my gaze sweeping over the room. "There are matters of great importance that need to be addressed."

Without hesitation, I moved to the heart of the issue. "After careful consideration and investigation, it has come to my attention that some among you have not been loyal to our pack. Your allegiance lies elsewhere, with those who seek to undermine our unity and strength."
