Waking up in the middle of the night felt like being jolted from a deep, peaceful slumber by an unseen force. My eyes snapped open, and a strange urgency coursed through my veins, compelling me to get up. It wasn’t a gradual awakening; it was immediate and commanding.

As if possessed, I found myself rising from the bed without a conscious thought, my body moving on autopilot. The soft glow of moonlight filtered through the window, casting eerie shadows across the room.
