Killian’s POV

I couldn't shake the feeling of unease as I walked into the townhouse, the echo of the meeting with the elders still fresh in my mind. The rogue attack last night had everyone on edge, and though I was supposed to be reassuring Elaine, the suspicion that it might be connected to her gnawed at me.
