Trouble

Lucian looked around as he thought so hard about what to do. Just then, he sighted a piece of a garment in a corner of the room. He knew how important it was so he thought he could put it to good use. He grabbed the garment and tied it to a corner of the window.

He was not so sure if it would work but he had to take the risk. He hurriedly tied the rope and then, carried her.

He tapped her lightly. She struggled to stay awake but then, he helped her lower herself. As soon as he had placed her down, he hurriedly climbed the rope together with her and jumped off quickly.

Just as he placed his leg on the bare floor outside the window, he heard the door flung open. They had finally been able to open the door. He knew they had to escape as soon as possible to avoid being caught.
