Dead or Alive

"I have to leave now" Maya yanked her mother's hands off her shoulders and ran out quickly. She needed to leave as soon as possible.

Deep within, she prayed nothing happened to Lucian. Well…. Eden should also be okay till they get what they finally want.

Lucian opened his eyes slowly as he felt shaken. No, not by hands but by…. The tiny ray of sun piercing through a corner to his eyes, wait.. What was going on?

He opened his eyes wide to behold where he was. The sounds of horses trodding the floor continued to penetrate his hearings. Then it dawn on him.

They were in a cage. A cage with iron bars in which each of the bars only had small distance between them.

Where were they and where were they taking them to? Eden still had not opened her eyes.

She still looked so weak and pale and their hands were still tied.

"Eden" He called softly, looking around the environment even though he could not catch a clear glimpse of the environment.

No where seemed familiar at all.

"Eden" He call
