Another three days have passed with no sign of Ayden.

It's been six days since he left me with promises. He told me he would be back soon but six days wasn’t what I could call soon.

Perhaps I should have asked him how soon he would get back to me.

I have done everything I could to stop thinking about him. I have drowned myself in work. Went on so many dates with Chloe who was also becoming worried with each passing day.

I have also tried to call Regina but that had been a waste of time. For some reason, she wasn't answering her phone either.

“How could I not know her house despite being mated to her grandson?” I asked myself, getting lost in my thoughts again.

Who was I kidding? I didn't even know about Ayden’s parents. I haven't met them and the way I found out about his younger brother wasn't exactly normal. I was a joke of a mate. Although I fell in love with Ayden, anyone would say that our love wasn't genuine and I wouldn't be able to blame such a person.
