Omnibus' POV

I knew when King Iram made me lead a battalion for an expedition, I would greatly suffer a great loss.

I knew right from the start. But what made me willingly agree to it was the most I wanted to know.

Somehow, I wanted this. To end everything. The pain of losing someone I love was too great that I couldn't take it. I somehow agreed to this suicidal mission.

King Iram may have trusted me for my ability, but I didn't trust myself now.

Right from the moment when the rogue was about to lunge at me, I accepted defeat. I accepted my death. From this day forth, I will not see her again. I will no longer make her suffer because of my presence. She wouldn't be guilty of anything and just continue to fulfill her duty as a curse-breaker.

I will no longer see her smile. Her warmth; was all because of her joyous approach. Her presence made my whole existence colorful. With meaning. With reason.
