Eleanor: “So, you are Russian but you chose to live here in the US?” I asked, choosing to want to engage in the conversation that the Alpha and I were having. Eleanor: I opened my eyes at the sound of an owl, cooing around. I frowned in confusion as I realized that I slept sitting down, and the low thumps that were behind me caused me to straighten up.
