Eleanor:

“So, you are Russian but you chose to live here in the US?” I asked, choosing to want to engage in the conversation that the Alpha and I were having.

The two of us have been sitting here together, at the small dining table, for the past hour and a half. And though I knew that I still had a few things to do, I knew that I didn’t want such a moment to end.

This has been our few moments of peace for the past few weeks now. Everyday, after he was done with whatever he had to do with work, the two of us would come here together and either have dinner if he chose not to want to join his pack members on the dining table or we would have coffee out here. Sometimes it would just be us walking around under the stars, but I cherished every moment that the two of us were sharing.
