Chapter Fifty - Surprise Visitors

Amy’s POV

I assumed I would be in a whole heap of trouble on my return and when time resumed its normal schedule. After all, Lisa hadn’t escaped on anyone else’s watch. This would be a test of Ingrid’s new-minted loyalty to me. She might change her mind again.

There were several pillows under the duvet covering the other twin. I told Michael my roommate was ill right at the last minute. He didn’t like it but what could he do?
