53 - Alpha king's Silence

Smith could move after Alpha King removed his king's authority, so he hurried to the room where his Mate was.

I looked at Alpha King and asked, "What are you thinking about so deeply?"

Alpha King looked at me and said, "Nothing. Let's go. It is already very late."

I didn't push further to ask what is wrong with him and why he isn't sharing with me. I nodded and walked with him to the pack house where his car was parked.

While walking he did not say a word. We walk silently and without talking, but I sense that something is bothering him. We approached the pack house and he said, "I need to have a word with Alpha Garrett then we will leave. You stay and wait for me in the car."
