4 - I don't want you now

Alpha king came off the stage and walk directly in my direction. I panic slightly but thought maybe he is again passing by me. If I tell you my wolf is so much excited but she does not want to get hurt again.

My wolf Kara 'Do not try to hurt me again because of what you feel Katie.'

I was so shocked at her remark that I feel like she had an objection to it and I replied 'How can you say this, I am doing this for our packs, because of them we are alive.'

Wolf Kara grunts 'You already did so extensively, you are even with them now. You should think about yourself.'

I thought why she is acting this way I had never had any argument with her and I ask 'You are arguing with me now? You were always so supportive, what happened to you now?'

Wolf kara replied 'I just want you to give him a chance.'

'Okay, I will think about it but after the battle please, we should be more concerned about this now, don't be selfish.'

Wolf kara 'I am sorry, I want my mate, I am already very broken Katie.'

'I promised you, I will try but not now.' I promised her.

My wolf suddenly got excited as she feel the presence of her mate nearby, Gamma Rich my friend went to have something for himself, he must be hungry as he travels today in the morning. I was waiting for Richard to join me again.

When I turned around to see where Richard is the Alpha King Raymond was there and approach me, our eyes met and my heart started to beat faster. I told my wolf kara to behave herself.

I addressed him by his title and curt a little to give my respect "Alpha King, Nice to meet you."

Everyone was stunned to look at him because he came to me first. All the higher authorities and all the Alphas and their Luna were shocked to see that Alpha King approached a Beta first when they have a higher ranking.

Alpha King doesn't like it if anybody questions his action so he looked at everyone and said: "I already said to be patient did I not?" And everybody went to do their work.

He again turned to me and said lovingly "Hello Mate."

I shushed him and took him outside of the hall to talk with him.

He chuckled and said, "You are so ready to take me now."

I objected with any expression "No you are wrong my King, I have a request for you."

He replied, "Whatever you say, love?" I panicked again, 'what did he call me just now.' but my wolf was so happy to hear his voice and his sweet confession.

I ignored her and asked "Please do not reject me now, Give me a month. I don't want to be weak now." I requested him.

He was so angry and disappointed that I can see on his face "Why would I reject you?". He raised a question to me

I replied honestly, "Because I am a Beta."

He was confused and scowled "So what?, You are my mate. Don't you feel the mate bond?" he asked me.

I replied frankly"Yes I feel the mate bond and my wolf is the most excited one here, but I don't want you now,"

He was frustrated now and about to object we were interrupted by his Beta May "My king, I apologize to interrupt you, please come with me now, Mayor Paul wants to meet you now."

Alpha king got furious, "Who made him the Mayor and he wants to summon me.?"

Beta May apologizes, "I am sorry My king, but he has a flight at 1 o clock, so he requested me. It's about the project."

Then suddenly Alpha David came from where I don't know and greeted him "My buddy, how are you?" Then his eyes landed on me. "Oh hello, Room neighbor."

Alpha king ignored him but when he heard about me he got serious and said "Stay away from her."

Beta May waited for Alpha king to proceed with him and said "My king."

Alpha King took my hand in his and went after his beta along with me.

And Alpha David smirks he knows what is happening, he is protecting this girl and he wants to have her.

When the Alpha king took my hand in his, the spark that I felt all over my body and I try to lose my hand. But he firmly grips my hand. My palms get sweaty very quickly.

He asked "Are you nervous? please wait we will talk later."
