Chapter Fifteen

Olivia POV

I wasn't locked up in a prison, I knew what prisons were made of. They had iron bars and windows for ventilation. But I was locked up, in a hole.

A hole without a window, only one entrance which was the roof, it had a slimy floor everything was sticky and I could hear a drop of water from afar.

That did not frighten me, I had gone through a worse scenario during my stay in combat. What frightened me was the total, unending darkness.

It made me feel blind, feel powerless and it was a feeling I had vowed to never feel again.

I was already sweating out of no ventilation. I touched the wall and flinched immediately, sharp pain jolted through my body. The walls had wolfsbane on them.

What an easy way to die. I sat in the middle of the floor, trying to push away the memories that came with darkness.

The door opened and a ladder was thrust down for the person to climb in. My heart fastened with excitement.

Maybe it was Grim. Maybe he had come to save me. “Grim?” I called out.
