Chapter Sixteen

Grim POV

“She is dying, the wolfbane was too much,” Maga announced after checking her body.

I narrowed my eyes “Wolfsbane? Did she try to commit suicide again?” I asked.

I thought she had given up on committing suicide. She did not look like someone ready to die anytime soon.

My eyes darted to her pale-looking body. Intense worry gripped my heart. I could not help but feel guilty about how I have treated her. Maybe if I was a little bit kind to her this would have never happened.

Gosh! I would have stayed not to leave her on the day of the trial to be at the mercy of that coward who calls himself my brother and Aegon.

Magan shook her head “They locked her in the hell hole”

“What? Who?” I growled, my eyes turning red. Hellholes were meant for people who committed serious offenses. Like betrayal or treason. No someone who stabbed someone while trying to protect herself.
