69. The one fear

We were sitting by the lake at the southern part of the pack. We didn't talk much after that. Jay's eyes were frozen into the clean water of the lake and my eyes were on him. I had locked my arm with his one and my leg tangling with his one as if I was caging him with me to stay. I was scared of losing him. He wasn't uttering a single word which was why I got more restless.

"You know you can meet your mom, sister, and brother if you want", he said, breaking the silence.

"Why are you talking about it now?", I was a bit shocked by his sudden statement.

"You may rescue them from Aren's pack and bring them here to stay with you", his eyes were still on the water surface.
