My eyes met her swollen ones as I stepped inside, slamming the door behind. My face was calm and her eyes were frozen on me. Mixed feelings filled me inside with a bunch of insecurities. She didn't smile at me, nor she said a single word until I reached her. My legs were trembling in an unknown fear.
Despite trusting that she would choose me, I was nervous. What if she had another plan, what if she didn't want it right now, what if she was mad at me for doing this.
