Time for a little party, no?
Dante: “Giovanni just left the house, Alpha” Leonardo said through the phone. I was driving toward the gala, and knowing that Nicolas might need a little help, I chose to delay going directly. Plus, we still had a few plans in our minds, and for them to be possible, we had a few preparations to make. “For a man who is hosting the gala, I am surprised by his behavior. Anyhow, that just shows how much self entitlement he can have” I said, shrugging my shoulders “let me know if there’s any update from Nicolas. I know that he might not be able to message or contact us for a while, but if you hear from him, just let me know” “Yes, boss” Leonardo said, hanging up, knowing that the conversation was over. “You have a very odd way of ending your conversations. You two do realize that, right?” Aurora stated, frowning at the phone for a second before shaking her head at me “you could at least say bye?” “The two of us are going to meet up in a bit, and we’ve gotten used to NOT saying goodbye
Aurora: It took everything, literally, every single thing, in me to stand still in front of Giovanni as he stared at Alessandro’s hand. His heart raced against his chest as fear filled his every vein, and that was the ONLY thing that kept me from snapping his neck in two, knowing that he was petrified of the man he kept locked for years. It was a few seconds later that he extended a shaky hand toward him, hesitantly shaking his hand. “I did not expect to see you here” he said, looking at Nicolas who stood beside me. I looked at him and gave him a quick nod of assurance. The man did the right thing, I couldn’t deny that. His mum was now safe at home, or wherever he chose to take her. “I am aware, but I did not want to leave you out of this surprise. You know, the two of us went way back and I didn’t think that it was right to not come and say hi first thing” he said, giving him a devious smile. Looking at Alessandro now, I could faintly remember my father who protected me from the
Dante: “Is your mom at home?” I asked, looking at Nicolas who nodded. “Yes, and so is Steven; therefore, I don’t…” “Aurora is not going home. I’m not as crazy as to send her to a man who has caused her so many nightmares on her own. But you are going to need to be very careful until we’re out of here” I said, stopping the man. Nicolas nodded in response, understanding what I meant. Giovanni has been glaring at him throughout the whole night, and if I didn’t know any better, I would have said that he was even plotting different methods of killing the man. However, for now, he knew not to do anything with Alessandro around, especially after his earlier threat. Alessandro was yet to say a word after Aurora left, and I knew that it was due to him being told away from her. The man has missed a lot in her life to simply accept that the child he was forced away from was now an independent woman; therefore, despite not liking his attitude, I couldn’t blame him for it, and if anything, I
Aurora: “What?” I heard Dante say, his voice raspy from sleep despite the sudden fear in it “he did what?” I opened my eyes to find him getting out of bed with his phone held in his hand, holding it to his ear. I frowned when I found that my phone was ringing as well. Checking the caller ID, and the time, it was a while past three in the morning, and the caller was Caspian. “Caspian…” “Aurora, we need Dante to come, and now” he said, my heart dropped to my stomach when I heard screaming around him. I got out of bed to find that Dante was already getting dressed. “Caspian, what the fuck is going on?” I asked, putting him on speaker, catching Dante’s attention. My mate’s eyes were fixed on the phone for a second, and rushing to my clothes, thankful for the fact that Angelina sent me a few shirts, pants, and a pair of shoes, as well as underwear, Dante’s orders when he had me coming to the hotel instead of going home. “The pack is being attacked. Giovanni sent his men…” Caspian
Dante: I closed the man’s mouth before digging the knife deep in his neck, turning it inside, making sure he felt every angle of the blade before shoving it toward the other end. I pulled it when I was sure that he was choking on his own blood, staring at him as his body hit the ground as he died. I knew, and could tell that there were more than just twenty-five men; however, I didn’t really care at this point. We were mostly following the directions Caspian gave us as they hid, waiting for me. The number of dead bodies made my chest ache, and the smell of burning flesh gave an irritating sensation; however, for now, I had no time to dwell over that. I had to make sure that those who were alive actually made it out alive. “We’re here” Aurora said, speaking into her phone. A door opened, it was one that was hidden under the grass, so people would actually walk over it and not notice them. The smell of burning flesh, blood, and fire hid their scents. Men and women walked out, and I
Alessandro:“Fuck…” I hissed, cleaning the cut that was on my left eyebrow. One of Giovanni’s dogs hit me with the back of his gun, failing to note that he could have easily shot me; however, he was dead before he could process.“Alessandro, where is my son?” Angelina asked, entering my room, not bothering to knock on the door, not that she needed to anyway. I was well aware that she’s been standing there for the past few minutes, debating on whether or not to enter the house.“Dante is at the hospital with Nicolas and Aurora…”“What?” She asked, stopping me. She walked to my side, her frown and racing heart told me that this was not going to be ending well. I knew that she was protective over her son, and finding out that he was shot was the last thing that she wanted to hear; especially since the man was yet to completely heal from his first shot.“He is fine, Angelina. They need to…”“How was he shot again, Alessandro? Didn’t Nicolas wake you to go and help them? How did he…?”“Ang
Aurora: “He is going to be fine, Aurora” Nicolas said, wrapping his arm around me, stopping me from entering the surgery room where they were taking my mate. My heart ached, and looking at the man, he waited until they closed the door before he unwrapped his arm from around me. He nodded at a woman who walked toward us, smiling when she stood in front of me “Alpha” “She’s pregnant, and we need to check on her baby” Nicolas said, cutting to the point. The woman nodded and extended her hand for me to shake, and smiling, I shook her hand, trying to ignore the nervous feeling that I had as I listened to the doctors who were inside Dante’s room, talking. “Hello…” “Aurora” “Hello, Aurora, I’m Doctor Sienna, may I ask if this would be your first ultrasound?” I put my hand on my stomach and nodded, looking down at my feet. Usually wolves tended to avoid going to hospitals for ultrasounds and such; however, I believed that since this was a wolf’s hospital, and needless to say, after ever
Nicolas: I looked at Aurora who was shaking her leg while she sat on the chair. Her heart raced against her chest as I worried about anything happening to her or her child. She barely ate the sandwich that I gave her earlier; however, I was just thankful that she got something inside her system. Her arms were crossed over her chest, waiting, and anticipating; however, I knew not to say a word to her right now, not wanting her to have or make any sudden reactions or movements. It was already a while past nine in the morning and Dante has been inside that operation room since almost five in the morning. A nurse looked at the two of us from a distance, and I frowned before she nodded, wanting me to come. Thankfully, I had warned the nurses in charge of the operation not to say anything in front of Aurora before I got her the sandwich. The woman was worried and tensed up enough, the last thing we needed was her having a panic attack and losing her baby in the process. “Aurora, I’m go
Leonardo:Fifteen years ago:“Leo, you shouldn’t be disrespecting your Alpha!” Angelina said, snapping at me. I had to fight letting out a low growl at the woman who wouldn’t even listen to me. The fact that she just assumed that I was disrespecting him simply because I was responding to him was something that I couldn’t get my head around, but then again, as mom always told me, he was her son, and I wasn’t. “I did not disrespect him! He was the one who yelled at me” I snapped, making mom growl in warning. And that was when I snapped “why don’t you ask me what happened? Why did you just assume that I disrespected him? He left ME to be bullied while he went back to Elena, and I asked why he didn’t help”“Would he have left his little sister to get hurt?” Angelina asked “the girl is six, and SHE was the one who was bullied, if you had defended her, it is because it is your duty. If that is something that you cannot get inside your head, why are you considering yourself her older brothe
Dante: “Are you sure that this is the first thing you want to do after being away from home for the past month?” I asked Alessandro who smirked as he crossed his arms over his chest. He looked at mom who smiled and nodded, knowing that he would be coming to her when he was done. “Yes, I have a few things to catch up on later, but for now, there is a little mosquito that I want to get rid of” he said, making me chuckle. I nodded and Alessandro, Nicolas, and I walked toward the cells. I knew that Aurora was in the house making us something to eat before I came, and we would be having the first family dinner together, as literally one family, for the first time since Alessandro was shot. Alpha Sebastian, who has something that he wants to tell Nicolas and I, was also here. Thankfully, we had an idea about what he was going to tell us, but being an Alpha, and Elena’s brothers above all, he knew that he needed to speak to us first before proceeding with anything. Seeing as I had no reaso
Eva: I stared at Madam Clara who was holding my child in her arms, trying to convince myself that this was not just a dream, and I won’t wake up not finding my son in front of me. “I named him Marcellus, Marcel for short” she said “I remember you telling me that you wanted to name him that when you were first pregnant if the baby was a boy” “How?” I asked, trying to stop my tears from falling from my eyes. Maria, who was sitting beside me, wrapped her arm around me as she pulled me to her chest, trying to comfort me. “Alpha Sebastian got us out that night. It turns out he lived in the same building at the time, and just as he was trying to escape the fire, he heard our voices. He broke the door and came inside. I don’t even know how he managed to get us out without getting any of us killed. But I remember waking up around a month or so later, with him holding Marcel in his arms, and looking at me in the hospital bed. I had lost consciousness during the fire” she said, making my he
Aurora: “Aurora, he’s opening his eyes, you can relax” Dante said, wrapping his arms around me from the back, stopping me from pacing as we waited in the waiting room. “What?” I asked, turning around to face him, hoping that this wasn’t something that I just imagined. “Your dad is waking up, the nurse just told me. They’re taking him to his room now, then we can go and see him” he said, and wrapping my arms around him, I hugged him tightly as tears fell from my eyes before I could stop them. Having changed the wedding dress to clothes that Maria bought for me, I was now wearing sweatpants and a white crop top and Dante’s suit jacket. He and Nicolas rolled their shirt sleeves up, and we’ve been here throughout the night, waiting for good news to come. “It means he’s fine, right? They’re not going to need to send him to the ER again…?” “Aurora, breathe, neonata” he whispered to me, stopping me “he is fine. The bullet didn’t touch his heart, and the lost blood, they donated to him,
Dante: I smiled as the doors opened, revealing my mate who was walking out wearing her beautiful white wedding dress. Alessandro had his arm looped with hers, and the smile on her face could be seen a mile away under the beautiful white veil she wore. Alessandro’s eyes met mine and he smiled, both happy and proud of the two of us for making such a choice. I knew that he was also happy that he, at least, got to have a chance of taking one role of a father, considering that he had lost so much time and had missed so much in his daughter’s life. Mom’s eyes met mine and the smile of proudness that was on her face was one that I would never forget, and looking at Nicolas who stood beside me as my best man, I smiled, thankful for the man who has entered my life so suddenly but changed so much about me. My brother, someone that I knew that I could at least lean on when I felt weak, and the best part was, he didn’t do it for anything in return, for once, I met a person who was being genuin
Aurora: My heart raced against my ribcage as I walked out of the dressing room, wearing my wedding dress. Anastasia, Eva, and Elena, who were my bridesmaids, gasped when they saw me. And catching sight of my reflection, I couldn’t help the tears that formed in my eyes. I never thought that I would ever live to see this moment, especially being a wolf, we didn’t really have weddings. “No, no, you are not going to ruin your makeup with your tears” Eva said, wiping my tears from my eyes before they fell. Her eyes met mine and I smiled, wrapping my arms around her, thankful for the help that she and the girls showed me. These were things that a girl mostly did with her mother and sisters, I was blessed with sisters of choice. “Thank you for today” I said, pulling away from the hug to look at the girls “all of you, I swear I don’t know what I would have done if it weren’t for you being there for me” Elena and Anastasia hugged me, and I smiled as tears fell from my eyes. And catchin
Nicolas: “Well, tonight went well” Eva said, smiling as we entered the house. The two of us have been sharing a house at the pack, mostly because we were growing closer with each passing day and I was growing both more attached to and protective over her. “Yes, thankfully” I said, running my fingers through my hair as I looked at her, admiring her. Her curves made my blood travel south where I really didn’t need it to right now. Having found her, I was sure not to touch another woman so as not to come home with a love bite or a female’s scent, fearing that she would grow upset. And respecting the fact that she might not want to rush things, especially after how she lost her mate. I wanted her to be sure that she wanted to be with me. My heart raced, and turning toward the room, I knew to dismiss myself before she caught the boner, and plus, it was not like she was going to say anything else anyway. Unless Nico Sandro was around us, she rarely ever opened a conversation; therefore,
Dante: “Dante!” Aurora laughed, trying to escape my grasp as I tickled her. The two of us were laying on bed, naked, need I add, and I was growing a little excited for my mate. “Yes, mi amor?” I asked, biting her earlobe, my voice above a whisper, making sure that my breath hit her neck. She giggled, trying to muffle her moan, of course, that didn’t work. I purred, and lowering my face to her neck, I kissed her sweet spot, gently sucking on it before turning her around, making her lay on her back as I hovered over her body. Her eyes met mine, and I smiled, running my finger over her cheek before I leaned in to kiss her. My beauty, having turned her on, spread her legs for me to settle between them, and smirking, I did as she desired. Her hips moved upwards, grinding against me, and it was seconds later that I pulled away from her lips to rest my forehead against hers and position myself at her entrance. She gasped before her back arched as I thrust into her, making sure to be as
Giovanni: “The fancy proposal of ‘The Billionaire D’Angelo’ to his lover and girlfriend Aurora” I read out loud, rolling my eyes as I read the news. I tapped my fingers on the armrest twice as the picture of Dante on his knee in front of Aurora as she looked at the ring as he placed it in her finger. I folded the newspaper that I was reading before throwing it aside, and shaking my head at how things got to where they were; however, it wouldn’t be long before their perfect love story ended. I just needed to find the perfect timing to do it. “Boss, she is losing it again” Santos, my new second hand, said, entering my office. The man did not bother knocking on the door, not that he needed to, the door was wide open considering that no one, aside from him, dared approach this room to begin with. I sighed and got up from my chair, picking up the newspaper and taking it with me, knowing that it would be the perfect chance, before heading toward Gabriella’s room where she was locked an
