You Did Well, Owl

“Kelly. Kelly.” A lady screamed at the other woman lying on her back.

They were inside an exquisite big bedroom that would fit an entire family in it. “Alicia, what were you thinking agreeing with her when you knew it was dangerous.” The lady mumbled under her breath.

Kelly was shaking on the floor, her eyes rolling that it was scaring the shit out of Alicia. She knew what it meant if Kelly wasn’t waking up. She continued shaking her up and when she knew she wouldn’t get an answer, she had to ask for help.

Alicia left Kelly on the floor and rushed to the main master bedroom. The moment the old lady saw Alicia, she rushed out of the bedroom and to where Kelly was.

She stared at the door and it shut in Alicia’s face. She lifted Kelly’s head and placed it on her lap. She closed Kelly’s eyes and began chanting. Kelly stopped trembling and she breathe got even.

The moment she opened her eyes, the old lady rose, letting her fall on the floor with a thud. Kelly winced and rubbed her head. T
