Luncheon

Asher POV

Mom had sounded frantic on the phone, which was unusual for her. As the former Luna of Blood Moon, she's known for her sturdy backbone and her ferocity to protect her pack. To hear her so worked up had me on edge.

I walked quickly out into the hall from the meeting room. I remembered Lance offering for Alex to join them for lunch downstairs. I needed to find my brother quickly so that we could make our way back to Blood Moon to assess the situation.

My warriors on the eastern border were my strongest warriors being as that was my border that I shared with Midnight Pack. For one of them to have been murdered... I didn't want to think about it yet. I needed to locate Alex so that he and I could shift and make our way back to Blood Moon as quickly as possible.
