CHAPTER 123

TANYA POV

I panicked on seeing Beta frank standing on my front porch while Artie held out the door with his Billy toy I had bought him. The toy was a replica of a man so I bought it to keep him company in case I was out.

‘Why was he here?. How did he find me?. Is Arturo with him’ this were the questions that pondered on my mind.

I took hold of Artie stepping backwards, away from the door. If he was here it only meant one thing, Arturo was looking for me.

“You won't let me in?". Frank asked and I blinked remembering we were still outside.

I took him inside and offered him some coffee and ginger biscuits I had baked.

Artie busied himself with his puzzle while I sat awkwardly doing nothing.

“Here, Ella and your friends would love to speak with you." He offered me his phone and I could hear my friends scream out loud.

“What happened to you?".“Why did you cut us off like that?". “I hope you are okay?". My friends flocked me with unstoppable questions making me feel overwhelmed.
