TANYA POV

I came back home and Arturo and Frank were gone. Artie was already asleep while I stayed up and watched the night sky with a bottle of wine beside me.

Drinking wasn't something I was used to doing but tonight was different. I couldn't get any sleep and Arturo's visit was still troubling me.

I should not be feeling this way especially when he had accepted me as his mate again. When he declared our bond that period, I felt my attraction towards him grow stronger.

If I hadn't pretended to be angry I would have ended up kissing and we would have ended up sleeping with each other.

Right now I needed peace of mind but I wasn't getting anyone. Why did he have to come now?, Everything I had worked to forget him and move on was now a waste.
