I woke up to Elena running her finger through my hair, her touch gentle, making my heart swell as I opened my eyes.

The fact that the two of us were well aware that Ianos was here was something that neither one of us was going to deny. But the idea of him watching us seemed a lot more appealing now that we knew that he couldn’t do anything about it for a while.
