“Where are we going?” I asked Ezra who was the one person who had the energy to talk.

Whereas I couldn’t blame Alvize and Killian for what they felt at Maria’s behavior with them, I couldn’t help but feel sorry for the woman who seemed to genuinely want to protect her kids. And the fact that I was actually forced to deal with the Lycan for more time than necessary was something that I didn’t want.

The anger that I felt toward him for killing my best friend was one that I would not be ignoring or forgetting anytime soon. The man not only killed him, but he tormented him before that happened, and that was something that tore me apart on the inside. And I knew for fucking fact that he saw and understood it.

The plane landed at Rome around half an hour ago, and though it’s been hours since things happened at the Estate, neither one of the men spoke about it.

“We are going to the Estate, it is where most of the ornaments to kill such demons are there.” He said, nodding at Killian.
