“How did you get here?” Aguilar asked, making me raise an eyebrow.

“Do you want to know? Or are you merely asking to make conversation?” I asked, taking a bite of the strawberry that was set between us.

“I am genuinely curious about the reason of why you hate me so much. You have been fighting nonstop, at least, so I have heard. You seem to be rather obedient.” He said, and I bit my bottom lip before picking up a grape and putting it between his lips, feeding it to him. He went to bite it, but I snatched half of it, making him smirk before he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me to straddle his lap.

“Each one of us has a story. Mine won’t be so different from those that you have within your pack and estate when it comes to concubines.” I said, wrapping my arms around his neck. I leaned in and connected my lips with his, reminding myself that this was the one way that I was going to be able to get out of the slavery that I was in.
