Chapter 2

It wasn't long before Allison was able to put together that Heather and Devon were a couple as well as Grace and Kyle. George's girlfriend was absent today but her name was Brittany. Jensen was the only single one in their group. the others always tried to set him up with friends from other schools but Jensen never really liked any of the other girls.

"Hey Jensen I have an idea for this weekend!" Devon blurted out unable to contain his excitement. "instead of going alone to the ski resort this weekend you and Allie should go together!"

Devon looked over at Allison and said "I hope it's okay that I call you Allie."

Allison shook her head and smiled "I don't mind. some of my friends have called me Allie in the past."

Jensen spoke next "Well I don't have any other plans this weekend. I was just going to sit this trip out. if you'd like to though I wouldn't mind going with you Allie. it's a popular hang out spot for our group and you're welcome to come along any time."

Allison was Happy that she was already being included in a new group of friends. of course she said yes. she sat in almost silence for the rest of lunch just answering questions the group of friends had about her here and there until lunch was over.

the rest of the school day went by fairly fast a few more teachers made her stand up and introduced herself after lunch but most of them didn't care.

It was finally time to go home. Allison sat on a bench and waited for her mom to pick her up.

School was over at 3, it was now 3:45 and she was still waiting.

Jensen walked out of the school with a very pretty middle aged lady, she had reddish brown hair and piercing blue eyes, she was probably in her Mid 30's if Allison had to guess.

Jensen glanced over and saw Allison sitting alone so he started walking towards her. "Hey Allie what are you still doing here?" Jensen asked.

"My mom was supposed to pick me up today but she's running late." Allison said.

The women that was with Jensen walked over and introduced herself. "Hi, I'm Jensen's mom. I'm the 12th grade English teacher Mrs. Brown. We could give you a ride home if that would be okay with your mother?"

Allison was grateful for the offer but said she didn't think her mother would approve.

Mrs. Brown was persistent and eventually Allison agreed to let them take her home.

They pulled into Allison's driveway and Jensen offered to walk her to the front door to help with her books when all of a sudden a lady came running out of the house.

It was Allison's mother Erika. "What the hell do you think you're doing? what right do you think you have driving my underage child around in your vehicle?" Allison's mom was pissed just like Allison knew she would be.
