Oh look, it's Thursday morning already! Groaning as I get out of bed and do my morning routine. After my shower, I wash my face with my face scrub as I get lost in my thoughts of what transpired last night.

Lexi, Roxy and I were sitting on my sofa, minding our own business, as we just decided to start watching Lucifer after we watched To All the boys I loved before.

When James comes home, bruised and bloodied, the asshole trio not far behind him.

The three of us immediately jump from our seats rushing to them. After cleaning their cuts and bruises, the girls as well as the asshole trio left to go home but obviously not before Kai glared my way.

After my brother lectured me about dating that asshole and that it's clear me and the boys I date aren't scared of him, I am now allowed to date but my boyfriends have to meet my brother first.

What a fucking twat. He then went on to tell my mother and I what happened. He got Luke, punched him in front of all Luke's brothers , his brothers then jumped in just when Kai pulled up and the three of them got involved.

Luke's dad broke up the fight and then told everyone to go home. Guess he wasn't in a murderous mood.

Then James, Kai, Mason and Reece went to the nearest bar and had a few drinks to which is when my mother smacked him against his head and then told me to leave the room so she could properly lecture her son.

Pulling myself out my thoughts, I rinse my face before grabbing my towel and then walking to my closet. Quickly dressing I make my way downstairs for breakfast.

My mother already had her breakfast, while James sits at the table eating his pancakes. "Bye babies, I'll see you tonight" My mother greets, kissing both our foreheads before leaving.

I grab a plate and sit down, filling it with pancakes. "Asia" my brother calls me breaking the awkward silence.

"Yes James I know, I was overdramatic and I should know you can take care of yourself. You were just so angry and knowing Luke's family I didn't want you to get in trouble or hurt. I can't lose you too" I say before he can say anything else.

"Asia look, I'm not dad okay ? I'm never going to abandon you. And you right I can take care of myself, yes I got a short temper but I'm not stupid. I know the type of people Luke's family are and they can't touch me.

Point is no one fucks with my little sister like that and gets away with it" he says with finality.

Sighing, I nod reluctantly. "Stop worrying about me okay ? I'm the big brother that's my job" he says kissing my forehead.

"Where are you going ?" I ask him as he puts his plate in the sink. He's dressed up.

"I'm the big brother remember? I'm going out. And you need to get to school" he says ruffling my hair before leaving the house.

I love him dearly but he sure is a pain in my rear.

After brushing my hair for the second time this morning I grab my keys and then lock up the house before running over to my car as the rain starts pouring.

I love the rain and cold weather, just not on school days though. Ugh.

Putting my keys in the ignition the car takes a few minutes before it starts. It idles for about five seconds before dying again. Seriously? I turn the key again but to no avail.

Again ? But nothing happens. Shouting in frustration I climb out of the car, into the heavy rain stomping over to the bonnet but not before kicking the front wheel on my way there.

Trying to find the problem under my bonnet but to no avail, again. Shouting I shut the bonnet and grab my phone from my pocket dialing Lexi's number. What do you know ? No answer.

Trying Roxy's phone but no answer there too. Trying my brother's phone and guess what ? No fucking answer.

School is like a twenty minute walk from my house and there's no way I'm walking in this weather.

Locking my stupid car, ready to fucking ditch not wanting to face my school anyway. Just then a black SUV hoots at the end of my drive way.

Turning in the direction of the van, I see Kai as he rolls down the window. Great.

"Need a ride, darling ?" He asks with his signature resting bitch face. How welcoming.

Not seeing any other option, I nod running over to his car. Climbing in the van I nod at him. He just grunts starting the van. I don't even notice him fiddling with something on the back seat before throwing a towel at me.

"You getting my seats wet" he says. Rolling my eyes I dab myself with the towel. "Your seats are leather" I say back.

"Just shut up and dry yourself" he says eyes still on the road. "Why'd you offer me a ride?" I ask curious at his odd behavior lately.

"And how long were you watching me before you offered me a ride?" I ask narrowing my eyes at him.

He chuckles. "Your brother is a friend, what kind of friend would I be to leave his stranded little sister to walk in this weather?" He answers in a duh tone.

"And I was watching from the moment you stepped out of the car throwing a tantrum, you looked hilarious" he says smirking. How embarrassing.

And so typical Kai to first watch me suffer.

"Whatever" I reply brushing his answer off. "You annoying" he replies. "You are a dick" I retort. "Clever, you are a bitch" he responds. "You are an A class asshole" I hum.

"Stupid" he grunts "Retarded" I reply not missing a beat. "I hate you" I suddenly say venomously the same time he does. I giggle softly at our childish like behavior.

"What are you laughing about midget?" He asks "Your ugly looking face" I answer immediately.

"Just get out" he says glaring at me once we parked at school. "With pleasure asshole" I say hopping out.

Speed walking towards the building I suddenly feel bad for not thanking him for the ride. Then I remember I hate his rude ass so I brush it off. As expected students are still milling around school halls as the bell hasn't yet rung and all eyes are on me.

With my head held high I march towards my locker. Thank god Lexi is already waiting for me there.

"Good morning babe" she greets me with a hug. Pulling away I smile. "Morning, what's got you all smiling and shit ?" I ask her to which she immediately blushes.

"Mason and I are texting, he's so smooth. Shit sorry" she says smiling before she cringes. I raise my eyebrows at her.

"Luke" she mutters as if talking about her love life is going to hurt me. The fuck not. So I just roll my eyes at her.

"Interesting, I never knew that you found him attractive" I then say slowly. "Asia what girl in this school isn't attracted to that boy. That's silly" she says in a duh tone.

"Uhm hello, me!" I say pointing to myself. She rolls her eyes. "You don't count" gasping I ask her "And why the hell not ?"

"You, uh you-" she fumbles with her words but is cut off by a squealing Roxy who comes barreling our way.

"You will never believe what happened!!!"

"What?" Lexi and I ask at the same time. "Your brother came to my house this morning to apologize for shouting at me last night, then offered to buy me a coffee and dropped me at school" she says excitedly making me squeal with her.

"Yuck!" Lexi says wrinkling her nose. "Do you not remember the time he flashed us with his 14 year old penis?" She asks in disgust making me laugh at the memory.

James was at the age where he and his friends bragged about who had the bigger dick, he was so proud when they finally actually compared their dicks and saw his was the biggest and couldn't wait to brag to his sister's friends so he flashed my eleven year old friends.

"I thought he was well endowed for his age" Roxy says shrugging making us giggle loudly. "Gross guys, I do not want to be talking about my brothers dick" of which I unfortunately have the mental image of.

"Yeah, shush Lexi. Anyway like I was saying we stopped at starbucks and then he dropped me off here at school as well as telling me he'd catch me later" she says squealing happily. Finally.

I'm happy for her, she wanted this ever since we were in elementary school. I just hope he doesn't hurt her. "I'm really happy for y-" my words get swallowed as I see Luke and Rachel walking in my direction hand in hand.

"That mother fucker" Roxy says angrily.

Lexi walks up to them before I even comprehend what's happening she slaps him hard across the face before marching back my way.

Grabbing my arm and dragging me down the hall as the whole school stands frozen in shock still staring at a shell shocked Luke and Rachel.

Damn girl. "I wanted to beat his ass" Roxy says pouting as she catches up with Lexi's fast pace still dragging me.

"He's lucky all I done was slap him, your brother already messed up his face a liitle" Lexi says still fuming.

I stop her from walking before hugging her tightly. "That was so awesome!" I say loudly before giggling. She finally smiles "It felt awesome too" making Roxy and I laugh.

Luke really pissed off a lot of people. Lexi is usually the one who stops us from getting into fights and causing violence.

The bell rings before I could tell them about my interesting morning. And so we make our way to our separate classes. The periods pass by in a blur.

Lunch time I made my way to the cafeteria getting stopped by every second person I know asking me if I'm okay to which I nod and smile stiffly.

I really despise Luke right now.

What surprised me was the people sitting at my usual table with my friends. What irked me was one person in particular sitting there looking like he was so above this and out of his mind bored.

Marching straight up to my table glaring at him. "What. Are. You. Doing?" I ask slowly with a hard look.

"Mason wanted to join you guys. Now just sit and don't make a scene midget" he says nonchalantly.

I let my gaze slide over to Lexi who's eyes are begging me to be cool. I see Mason sitting next to her.

Okay. Fine. I can do this. For the squad.

So I slowly let myself sit down and then I take out my leftover pizza from last night and start eating not wanting to be part of the ongoing conversation and having to look at Kai's disgusting face.

The whole cafeteria quiets down. I turn around to see what the big ahh ooh is about. Mistake. It's my fresh ex and his new babe.

They just walked in and heading to her usual table. What did everyone expect ? For him to come sit at his usual table with me ?

I turn back to my food and continue eating. Betrayal. Thats all I feel, heavy, nasty, steamy betrayal. He didn't even have the decency to explain his actions. It's like he never had any commitment to me.

Fuck him.

"Are you okay A?" Lexi asks quietly but loud enough for just our table to hear. "All good love" I smile at her before jugging down my juice.

I hate Luke. Kai scoffs from oppisite me. But there is no one I hate more than Kai. Fucking dick.

Glaring at him. The bell rings signalling the end of lunch. I grab my things and make a beeline to my next class.

Before I know it I'm walking into my last period of the day. Advanced Literature, my absolute favorite subject, unfortunately today it's going to suck.

Yes you guessed it, Kai is in that class. Luke who usually makes it so much better is now my ex and probably going to rub Rachel in my face this period.

All the front seats are taken, as expected Rachel is sitting next to Luke who is sitting in the middle of the class. Groaning as I take one of the seats right at the back of the class.

Kai enters the class having no choice but to sit at the back a few rows away from me. I glare at him as he glares right back. Snapping my eyes to a screeching Rachel who then starts laughing uncontrollably as Luke tickles her.

Yikes, my brother really did rearrange Luke's face. It's badly bruised with purple bluish marks. Kai's cut on his eyebrow is covered with a small plaster, actually looks bad ass.

Yuck what am I saying.

Banging my head on the table two or three times before groaning. As I open my eyes I see Kai watching me with amusement.

Smiling sweetly looking straight at him. I make as if I'm taking something out of my pocket, then I show him my middle finger, making as if im taking a lipstick cover off before putting my middle finger to my lips making as if I'm putting on some lipstick.

He throws his head back in laughter, causing a few heads to turn his way. Ugh, that was not the reaction I was hoping for.

Our teacher Ms Edwards walks in greeting the class before telling us to take down the notes on the board.

I immediately start taking the notes down when I hear Kai and Gracie that stupid head cheerleader talking and laughing. Ignoring them I continue with my work until the bitch gets so annoying to the point I just snap.

"My god Gracie, I assure you that Kai is a big headed egotistical manwhoring asshole, laughing at his jokes won't make him change for you. Take down your notes love" I say smiling sweetly.

She looks down at her notes embarrassed. The whole classes attention is now on me, Gracie and Kai. "Hmm someone's acting jealous" Kai says smirking at me making me scoff.

"Kai you know better, I hate you" I spit venomously at him. "I hate you more darling" he says smiling at me.

"Good, great, fan fucking tastic. Now keep your mouth closed it's attracting flies" I say frustrated at his calm demeanor.

"Burn! Just kidding that's the best you got ? Definitely slipping Asia" he says mocking me.

"You not worth my best comebacks" I say dejectedly before turning back to my notes seeing Ms Edwards stern gaze on us.

He chuckles before going back to his work. Looking up I catch Luke's frown as he stares between Kai and I.

Catching his gaze I flip him the bird before mouthing a 'fuck you'.

Kai's bellowing laughter grabs my attention, making me snap my head to him, seeing his eyes already on me. Still laughing he shows me a thumbs up.

Rolling my eyes at the asshole I show him the finger on both hands. Smiling making his smile drop as he glares at me making my smile widen.

"Ms Carter and Mr Smith you are both recieving a ten minute detention in my class after school. Stop with this childish back and fourth and complete your work please!" She says making my smile drop immediately as I quickly put my hands in my lap.

No. I was hoping to catch Lexi or Roxy and ask for a ride. I forgot to tell them about my crazy morning with the devil and my stupid car and now I'm going to be stranded again.

I glare at Kai who's now smirking at me. Turning back to my notes. As soon as the bell rings everyone leaves except Kai and I.

I decide to keep my head down until our ten minutes are over.

"I expect better from the two of you, do not let this happen again. You are dismissed" Ms Edwards says after our ten minutes.

Nodding I grab my things and speed walk out of the school. Reaching for my phone inside of my bag to call someone Kai pushes past me.

He turns around before I could put my hand down. He raises his eyebrow at me making my cheeks heat in embarrassment I was not expecting to get caught.

"Come on Asia, I'll give you a ride. The rains coming soon" he says just as it starts pouring. Ughhhhh. Groaning I follow him jogging towards his car.

I wonder what this ride home consists of.
