"It's going to be fun" Lexi says looking at me in the mirror as she curls her beautiful red hair.

"No it's going to be a disaster" I say groaning as I lay on my back on the bed with my head hanging over the edge.

"Oh stop being so pessimistic, it's going to be a banger" Roxy says moisturising her long legs. Rolling my eyes at the two as they chatter about tonight.

You guessed it, it's the day of Kai's disastrous party.

Atleast I'll have my two bestest friends in the world as well as my loving boyfriend with me. No facing this enemy on my own.

I smile as I watch Lexi and Roxy giggling about boys and who they going to dance with to make which girls jealous.

Lexi, Roxy and I became friends in elementary school. We knew each other from community get togethers but never were friends.

We immediately changed that and we've been inseparable ever since.

Lexi use to get bullied over her red head so Roxy and I always use to get in trouble together for beating up the bullies.

Then we got to middle school and Lexi was then the desire of every middle schooler. The boys were too afraid to like Roxy and I because we use to beat the shit out of boys for Lexi.

Then we got to highschool and suddenly we were the hottest trio in school. All the boys wanted us, most of the girls wanted to be our friend and the rest despised or envied us.

We never let it get to our head though. We stayed humble.

I would say we are popular but we weren't the mean girls or the cheerleaders. We had a lot of friends and even more acquaintances, we didnt act higher than the almighty, or sluttier than hookers. We were just us.

Crazy bestfriends.

They always had my back, wiping my tears and always there for therapeutic sleepovers.

Whatever we went through it was always together.

Alexa and I connect on a deeper level for some reason. She's outgoing, smart, soft spoken but freaky. She always goes for the bad boys and believes in love no matter how many times she gets her heart broke.

She believes that her one true love is out there. She loves alcohol though you'll never find her crazy drunk. She's the bestest friend anyone could ask for, she has your back no matter what.

Then there's Roxanna, she's beautiful, strong and independent. She doesn't date, she flirts and makes out with guys but never dates. She like Lexi believes in her one true love, sadly her one true love is my brother who is a manwhore.

She parties like crazy, you'll definitely find her stripping naked or swinging from fans when she's drunk. She's the meanest, most craziest bitch you'll ever find. And the best listener and she always has the wildest ideas.

And then theres me, I have my crazy moments, dated one guy before Luke. I don't party much but when I do I go crazy, like get shitfaced drunk. I'll kill for my bestfriends. I'm confident but humble, I be as real as I can be and I'm brutally honest. Like I have no filter whatsoever.

"Asia you need to get ready" Lexi says poking me. "I don't feel like it. Besides I hate Kai and I hate Luke's friends" I say groaning.

"I'll kick their asses" Roxy says shrugging and she's dead ass. "Okay girls no one is going to cause any trouble, especially you two. We don't want Kai to kill us for ruining his party and share the target that's on Asia" Lexi says seriously.

"You are such a great friend Lexi" I say sarcastically. "No seriously Asia, who wants a enemy for life, you might enjoy the back and fourth with Kai but I won't he's scary when he's mean" she says cringing abit.

"I don't enjoy it" I grumble getting up, going to go search for something to wear to this inevitable damn party. 

"You want my help boo?" Roxy asks me stepping into my closet already scanning it's contents. "I need it" I say defeated.

She scans some more before pulling out a red blouse and a black skirt and then grabbing a pair of thigh high red boots.

"You'll look great!" She squeals before shoving me into my ensuite bathroom and shutting the door tight. Not even bothering to protest I quickly dress myself.

I step out of the bathroom and I'm immediately pushed into a chair by Lexi as she starts on my make up and Roxy starts with my hair.

"I do-" I start off but Lexi cuts me off "We know, nude makeup and boring hair" she says rolling her eyes.

"We'll see" Roxy says slyly.

When they finally finished with my hair and makeup they drag me to the floor length mirror. I smile in satisfaction. "We look good" Roxy says squealing.

The party is in full swing and the music is blasting through the speakers. The twat even has a Dj and strobe lights. The house is full of smoke and all you can smell is the strong smell of alcohol and marijuana.

There's people everywhere dancing and grinding on each other, people smoking blunts and almost everyone has a red party cup filled with alcohol.

"I'm going to dance!" Roxy screams at us already moving to the middle of the dance floor.

"I'm going to get me something to drink, you want anything?" Lexi asks me to which I shake my head.

She nods before walking off, making her way to the kitchen. Looking around I spot Luke and his group.

Walking over to him, he spots me and smiles meeting me half way.

He kisses my cheek and brings me over to his group of friends. I greet them, they greet back and then they all go back to their conversations. One of Luke's friends asks him to join their game of beer pong.

He agrees.

All of them gets up and joins the game. Not feeling up to socialise with the scavengers after my man, I stay seated. I watch Luke as he laughs and plays the game having the time of his life.

I smile watching his carefree nature. Seeing him look over to someone. I follow his gaze and see him looking at one of the cheerleaders.

Rachel. I look back at him and his eyes are on the game again.

Getting up I make my way to the kitchen, grab a drink and head back to the beer pong table. I've caught him looking over at Rachel a couple more times.

Instead of making a scene, I head over to the middle of the dance floor, joining Roxy. Shortly after, Lexi joins us and just like that, the popular trio strikes again.

I would be lying if I said the boys at this party could keep their eyes off us. Luke too consumed in his games to notice his hot girlfriend though.

My legs start aching so I make my way back to the sofas near the beer pong table.

All through the night I watched Luke and every five minutes I would catch him staring at her.

My heart breaks a little every time.

Instead of looking away or going home I kept watching him watch her, not believing my eyes.

The drinks kept on coming and I kept gulping it down. I needed something to numb the pain.

Once again being reminded of the fear that no one is ever going to love me, unconditionally, faithfully and forever.

Luke catches my gaze and smiles that breathtaking smile of his and my heart melts at the sight.

I reflexively smile back and it's bright. Nothing near to how I'm actually feeling.

He goes back to the drinking game but not before he looks her way again. She comes over this time wanting in on the game.

He immediately agrees and pulls her to his team.

Not being able to watch any longer I quickly get up and make my way upstairs wanting to find a bathroom.

Praying that Kai is somewhere down there drinking himself stupid and doesn't walk in to me.

So far I haven't seen him tonight. I hope to keep it that way.

Every bathroom is occupied either by bunnies fucking like crazy or drunks puking their guts out. Deciding on just choosing a room then using the ensuite bathroom needing to wash my face.

Opening the first door I come across, immediately bumping into a hard warm chest. Praying to god as I slowing look up.

It's your unlucky night A, there in all his enemy glory is Kai with an angry face.

"Hurry, I want you in me again" I hear one of the head cheerleaders Gracie say. She's lying naked in his bed.

Shutting my eyes quickly as I turn around, sprinting down the stairs. My eyes are in need of holy water.

I spot Lexi and Roxy, still dancing in the middle of the dancefloor, grinding and laughing. I decide to just leave not wanting to spoil their fun.

On my way out I see Luke and Rachel standing in one corner talking and laughing.

Shaking my head I just leave hating this party. Like I said disastrous. Entering my room, not bothering to switch on the lights, I get undress, throw on a oversized sweater and throw myself on my bed immediately falling asleep. 

"Hey baby, wake up. I brought your favorite" Luke whispers into my ear. I sit up slowly, feeling groggy and overly tired.

Luke hands me a plate with waffles and ice cream drizzled in syrup just how I like it. "Breakfast in bed huh?" I ask smiling.

He kisses my cheek and climbs into bed with me. I smile thanking him

I start eating slowly as he wraps his arms around my waist, closing his eyes. Everything comes flooding back from last night.

The glares from his girl friends, the stupid game he played all night not giving me attention, him staring at rachel the entire night, walking straight into Kai's naked chest, Luke talking and laughing with Rachel.

Before I can even say anything about last night. Luke tells me. "I missed this. Just laying here cuddling you as we watch movies and talk about everything. When last did you let me sneak in?" He asks me chuckling.

All the good times come rushing back making me forget about last night momentarily and so I shrug smiling. "Well I missed you. Thank you for coming with me last night. I'm sorry I was so invested in that game" He tells me softly.

Grabbing my plate he puts it on my bed side table before pulling me to him and holding me tightly.

I missed being in his arms like this. "It's okay, you probably going to have to get use to me attending parties with you again" I say back.

Sighing in content I pull him closer and hide my face into his neck.

He chuckles and nods but before I know it I'm fast asleep. When I come to later that afternoon, Luke has left but he wrote a note saying that he had football practice but that he'd come back soon.

I go downstairs to grab something to eat when I find both Lexi and Roxy on my sofas sleeping. Deciding to cook them both something to eat.

Once I finished I go and wake them up. "Fuck, what time is it?" Lexi asks "Its about quarter to four" I say. "What????" Roxy shouts. Lexi knocks her upside her head.

"Not so loud, geez" she grumbles.

"You didn't have to hit so hard" Roxy grumbles back before they both start eating.

"Honey I'm home" he shouts loudly, then banging the door close even louder.

"Shut up James" both of them shout back at my brother. I put my hands on my hips full of attitude.

"What are you doing here?" I ask the moments he steps into the lounge.

"Well hello to you too moody, firstly the last time I checked I lived here. Secondly you two look like shit" he says dragging his eyes from them to me. "Thirdly,  fun night?" He asks raising a eyebrow.

"James you always look like shit. And yes it looks like your cock blocking ass was too late to kill our joy, fuck yes the night was fun" Roxy says sassily before showing him the bird.

"That's a shame, well good thing I'm here for the rest of the week and I'm going to be the biggest kill joy. Like for starters, go put on some pants child, you look like a 2 dollar hooker" he says in a voice which I think he thinks sounds like mom.

Rolling my eyes at him I just show him the bird before dragging my bestfriends to my room.
