However, after hanging up the phone, Shawn's face turned cold as he violently hurled his phone against the wall, shattering it into pieces.

Denise nearly screamed in fright. "What happened?"

Shawn’s expression was dark and grim.

Denise walked over from behind, wrapping her arms around him and pressing his forehead against her stomach.

She gently patted his back. "Shawn, if something is bothering you, you can tell me. I'm willing to hear you out. Don't keep it bottled up inside. If it makes you sick, it’ll break my heart."

Shawn remained silent, still holding onto a shred of reason.

He knew, regardless of the truth, that this matter was between him and his wife. It wasn’t something to be discussed with outsiders.

And Denise was certainly an outsider.

With this realization, Shawn stood up and walked out of the office with a blank expression, picking up the intercom.

His personal assistant, Elbert Weiss, quickly entered from outside.
