Sebastian glanced sideways, his eyes sharp.

He spoke in a low, firm tone, “Hannah is Shawn's wife.”

Jasper was momentarily stunned, even he was caught off guard by the revelation. "Well, Shawn is a lucky guy."

That made sense. Even if Sebastian didn't particularly like Shawn, they were still family, and helping each other out in public was only natural.

Jasper let out a relaxed sigh. “I thought you’d finally developed an interest in a woman, but it seems it's just an older relative watching over a younger one.”

Though, even calling it "watching over" might be a bit generous.

To strangers, Jasper was as cold as a cave frozen for centuries, but around those he knew well, he could be surprisingly chatty.

"As for Kylie, if you can buy her out all at once, just do it. I can't stand her phony demeanor. She's nothing like Hannah—straightforward, bold, and ready to throw a punch whenever necessary. A far more genuine girl."
