Chapter 5

Rielle Romano~

Rielle woke up the next day feeling much more optimistic about the day, Wasn’t she supposed to feel grief? Regret? Sadness? Guilt? Whatever it was people that killed felt after killing? The night before she was sure she would feel one of those the next morning, but she felt indifferent.

She got of the bed and tied her robe properly, she needed a smoke so she walked towards her cupboard and brought out a pack of cigarettes, she only smoked once in a while when she felt good.

Removing one from the pack she put it back into the cupboards and grabs the lighter from in it, she lit the cigarette and placed it in her lips

She could hear some noise coming from downstairs and she furrowed her eyebrows, all her employees knew her by now so how could they argue incoherently like this. She walked out of her room and stood by the hallway

"What in the world is happening?" She bellowed at them and walked down the stairs, She rolled her eyes as she saw the one causing the issue "Kale! What are you doing here so early?” She asked the man who smiled immediately he saw her, Rielle looked at her maid and gestured for her to leave

"Baby-" he starts off and she slowly release a puff and glared at him "Do Not call me that!” She says sternly and the man rolls his eyes "We go through this everytime, Anyways I got the contract with the Dallarosa!" He says and she rolled her eyes, That was why he was here this early "Congratulations!" She said and took a seat on the couch, He narrowed his eyes and smirked, Walking closer to her 

"Why did you cancel the contract with them?” He asked and she released a puff “They were too needy, I didn’t have that time and now if you’re done doing whatever it is that you came here for, you can leave!" She said and stood up to leave but he caught her wrist

"Why don’t we go out on a date, just you and I, I promise i would treat you right" He said and she starts to laugh 

"You dream too high Kale, Celebrate your contract with the Dallarosa’s but Do Not ever come into my home and make a fool of yourself like you did today!” She says looking at him in the eye, His grip slowly loosened and she walked away

Kale Daniels, The blonde haired millionaire that liked to think everyone would dance to his tune. He is a family friend of her grandma, He has been trying to get her to go on a date with her but it has all been futile. 

Rielle walked back to her room and killed the smoke of the cigarette, Walking into her bathroom she untied the robe and stepped into the shower to have her bath. After she was done, She walked into her closet and picked out a white high-waist pant wide leg trousers and a black shoulder top, Satisfied with how she looked she walked back to the room and sat by the dressing chair, Using her cologne and a light makeup to her face, she brushed her brunette thick hair and let it down.

Her phone started to ring and she glanced to check who it was, her grandmother! 

"Hello grandma!" She says and heard some shuffling over the phone "Come see me !" The woman says in her stern voice that didn’t faze Rielle anymore, When she was younger her grandma had been one of the toughest person to live with, The woman was as difficult as the word. 

Rielle cut the call and walked over to the cabinet where she brought out the old book that had been with her ever since she turned fifteen, That book changed her entire existence and life, It drew her in the most explicable way ever, Her grandmother had given her the book, telling her it was her parents but the content of the book was something that drew her into the life of crime.

Her mom had written their lives and crime escapade line by line in the book, Her dad was the right hand man of the mafia don while her mom, well her mom was her mom! 

She closed the book and put it into the cabinet, She had to go see the old woman today, She picked out a Hermes bag and her phone and walked out of her room.

Her phone started to ring again and she picked it, placing in against her ear

"Good morning ma’am, the men from the construction site are here!” She heard Jenna say over the phone

"I would be there around 12, you can tell them to come back or stay!” She says and hung up the call, reaching into her bag she brought out her shades and wore it

Her driver had the car ready and she got into it, “Grandmother’s place!” She said and the man nods.

A few minutes later they arrived at the place she grew up, the driver opened the car door and she got out of the car, It has been a while she came here and being here brought back her old memories, Memories of how she grew up. She sighed and walked towards the door of the mansion, pressing the doorbell she waited for the butler to open it and he did

"Senorita!" The butler’s gruffy 

voice 

could be heard as he opened the door "Mateo!” She smiled warmly at the butler and she moved aside to let her into the house 

“Where is grandmother?” She asked and the man pointed towards a room, Rielle smiled at the man and walked towards her grandmother’s room.

She knocked softly on the door and twisted the door knob "Couldn’t you wait till you hear 'Come in'? The woman’s sharp voice could be heard and Rielle paused in her tracks

"I didn’t have the time, Whats wrong grandma?" She asked and the woman came forward to look at Rielle 

"Were you not supposed to come see me since all these while? Was i that horrible to you?" The old woman asks and Rielle smiled at her "You were more than horrible, grandmother but I have been very busy which was why I couldn’t come to see you!" She says and the woman smiles

They were soon interrupted by the familiar devil Rielle had come to know
