Alicia had received a message from Jessica where she assured her that Dawson was alright. She did not need to go there anymore.

Jason suggested a date since he was flying back the very next day. The only reason he came was because of Xavier's birthday and Alicia.

Alicia agreed because it was an opportunity for her to spend with Jason. Ever since they became a couple they had never been on an official date and although Alicia had said out loud that she did not mind it did bug her a bit.
