"I never expected to hear about your engagement from the media" Jeanne said as soon as Aletta's leg entered into the house.

It was as though she had been waiting for her to come. Aletta jumped startled a bit before her eyes landed on the girl in front of her flashing the huge diamond on her finger.

"And I did not think you would get engaged so secretly either" Aletta shot back at her.

Jeanne flashed the ring in her face with the giggle of a high schooler. "He asked while we were out for dinner at a park, what could I have said? No? I love that man too much to refuse to spend my entire life with him"

Hearing him Aletta could not help but agree, she understood every word Jeanne said and the ones she left unspoken. She was not sure how she was supposed to go on with life if she lost Joshua for any reason whatsoever.
