Book Two: Branch Sixty Two

The night began to come to an end and Jeanne was not happy because she felt she was yet to do what she wanted to do. She promised to stomp on the ego of Anette and unfortunately, she had been unable to do so.

She took a trip to the bathroom and while she was in one of the bathroom stalls she overheard a conversation between two people. She could not pick out their voices but from their discussion, she knew that they were one of the six girls.

"I don't think keeping Anette close to us is of any benefit any longer," the first girl said.

"Anyone can tell at a glance. She is still trying to make us think that all is still alright with her and the Delgado" the other voice replied.

"Oh my god I hate her so much, I can't believe we have had to suck up to her all these years just because she was close to them" another voice replied.

"She always behaved as if she was on top of us all. We all know her family and we know they would be unable to hold a candle to us" the second person said again.
