Book Two: Branch Sixty Four

Jeanne walked straight to the table trying her best to ignore the lingering stares at her as she walked to the table and now with a man on her tail. She was sure that the people were probably talking about her and she tried her best not to mind them.

"Brother," she said as she sat and the man stood there as if he had attended an interview and was waiting to be told what to do.

"Sit Thiago," she said pulling his hand so he sat beside her.

"Who is this?" Joshua asked tilting his head in the direction of the strange man who had just sat at their empty table. Since everyone had kind of noticed the way Anette was shunned from the table no other person wanted to be humiliated so they avoided the table and Joshua and Jeanne were glad for the weird silence at their table I'm such a noisy place.
