Book Two: Branch One Hundred and Thirteen

"What is he doing?" Anette screamed out dropping her phone to her bed. "Why isn't he picking up my calls" she added in annoyance.

She had been trying her best to reach Joshua. Since they came back from the wedding he had ignored her and now it has been almost a week.

She wanted to meet him tomorrow so her big plan could get started but she could not reach him all week. She tried his personal line and he kept ignoring her. When she tried his office she heard him say no to answering her calls.

It was obvious he was angry and she knew that she shouldn't have gone about getting him that way but she was desperate. She was not getting younger at all but it seemed like he was getting further and further out of her reach every time.

"What is he doing?" she said again taking her phone and trying his call again.

A knock was heard at her door and she glanced at it. "Come in" she screamed out and continued tapping away on her phone. She was sending the nth message to Joshua apologizing to him.
