Zyrielle's POV.

My phone continued buzzing and I decided to give thought to it. Rain was yet to return, so I figured that he could be the only one calling, probably to tell me that he would stay out later than usual.

Color me shocked when I saw a video of him hugging Cheryl, from the look of things they seemed pretty intimate.

'Wow.' I mouthed.

I chuckled softly. What was I even expecting in the first place from their family? They had a way of piercing one's heart when one was starting to rely on them.

This was one of the reasons I didn't want to trust him in the first place. I knew that he was too good to be true. I was feeling like a blatant fool who saw that there was a pit yet went ahead blind through. How could I have been so stupid not to spot the fact that he was only just trying to take advantage of me? I was so foolish not to understand how this worked and now I felt like annihilating myself.
