I knew without being told that we were in trouble, I pushed forward and stood between him and Hillan as I didn’t want him to hurt him again.

Hillan tried to get in front of me but I stopped him. If there’s anyone to calm Bernardo down then it would be. We talked last night so I just have to assure him that he has nothing to be worried about.

“What’s that bastard doing with you? Why was he touching you? What are you telling her?”

Bernardo let out when he got closer to us. I tried to reach for him to calm him down. I didn’t want them to fight or something because the man already looked like he was out to commit murder and I refused to let him kill my friend.

“It’s none of your business what I have to tell her.”

Fucking Hillan, I turned to look at him in shock. Did he really say that to my murderous-looking mate? He looked like he had a death wish or something because why else would he say something like that to an already angry Bernardo?
