“What are you saying? Planned? When? Why? How?”

I asked in confusion but even in my confusion, I felt a small light of hope start to bubble inside me, hope that Hillan and I can still be friends and that our relationship wasn’t ruined yet.

“Sorry baby. But to be fair, it wasn’t my plan. your savior wanted it that way and I tried to talk him out of it but he and Damien ganged up against me and it was two to one. I lost and agreed. Again, I am just a secondary character in the plot.”
