Dhalia POV

It takes every bit of strength I have to get out of the car. This place might only hold good memories, but I haven’t been in a crowd since everything happened. I’ve avoided cameras and people as much as possible. Everyone knows. They know everything.

Closing my eyes, I step out, and Blake keeps me close as Chase and Jax join us. We walk into the club, but we’re stopped by a guard.

“Any chance you have a moment to discuss an issue?” the guard asks, looking between the guys.

“What sort of issue?” Jax asks.

“The kind we find while searching people—large quantities were found on him,” the guard explains, and I’m guessing he means drugs.

“Grab a drink, Princess, and wait in the VIP lounge. We won’t be long, and the staff have been made aware of exactly who you are to us,” Chase says, kissing me before walking off with the guard, Jax, and Blake in tow.

I turn and head to the bar, where the bartender gives me my drink with a smile. I don’t want to sit alone in the VIP area,

Dhalia POV We’ve been sitting here for a while now, and the conversation has stayed light. The guys have been asking me about my hobbies—if I have any other interests besides reading. It feels comfortable, almost normal, but there’s an underlying tension I can’t quite shake. “Let’s discuss what happened,” Chase suddenly says, turning to face me directly. My heart skips a beat. Does he mean this morning? Blake clears his throat and begins. “Keeley had hidden cameras in our rooms and yours. That’s where the images came from, that’s how she knew the stories. She must have put them in the first night.” I nod slowly, the weight of what he’s saying sinking in. “I’m sorry,” I murmur, feeling the need to apologise. When it came to Keeley, I vouched for her. I said she was trustworthy, and they trusted me to know her. But I didn’t—clearly, I had no idea who Keeley truly was. “Don’t apologise, Princess,” Chase says, his smile gentle. “It’s not on you. It’s not like you knew what she was pl

Dhalia POV My hands start unfastening his shirt as he lifts the dress from my body. His lips trail down my neck, his body warm and solid against mine. “Hey.” Jax’s voice interrupts us, and Blake groans, lowering his head in frustration. I chuckle, turning to see Jax standing in the doorway. “Just making sure you remember tomorrow morning, and the importance of it. So don’t keep her up all night.” “I remember, Jax. Don’t worry,” Blake mutters, and I hear the door shut. I hadn’t even noticed it open. Why do I need sleep, and why is Blake not allowed to keep me up all night? I find it amusing that we're being told what to do. Sure, they are right; I should sleep. Still, it's not like they make us aware that we need to sleep. “So what’s that about?” I ask, knowing it must have something to do with me. If it didn’t, Jax wouldn’t have said not to keep me up all night. “Your stepdad. We’ll talk about it tomorrow,” Blake says, his expression serious, clearly signalling that he doesn’t w

Jax POV When I wake up, Dhalia and Blake are nowhere to be found. The first thing I think is that I’ve slept in. We’re supposed to be talking to Dhalia about her stepdad today, and I know after that conversation, she’ll probably want some space. I head to my room, shower, and get dressed before making my way to the kitchen. As I walk in, I see them at the table, quietly eating breakfast. The room feels oddly subdued, like everyone’s waiting for the right moment to speak. Dhalia is once again buried in a book while eating, and I know they’re finishing up her room today. We’ve ordered a ton of books for her—she deserves to have a personal library. I get lost in my thoughts while eating, and before I realize it, Chase nudges me. “Sweetness,” he says, drawing my attention to Dhalia. She looks up from her book, setting it aside. “What’s so important that we need to talk about him?” she asks, looking at us with a mix of curiosity and apprehension. “He’s disappeared, or at least that’s

Jax POV Harold is getting on my last nerve. Does he not realise, essentially, the houses, apartments, money, cars, and everything else are hers? Give it a few months, and she will own his ass even if he doesn't like the way she does things. I open my mouth to argue and stand up for Dhalia, but she takes the lead. “Business? You said they were personal, rarely used. So where’s the damage in allowing someone to stay in them for a few months until they get back on their feet?” She's not stupid, and he's going to have a hard time trying to make her roll over and follow the rules her stepdad had put into place. Harold shakes his head. “Because that’s not how it works, or how he did things.” He's pissing me off right now. “Well, it’s how it works now. Do you have an issue with it? As we don’t, and it’s her choice, so how can you refuse? You wouldn’t refuse if she wanted to demolish them, so you can’t refuse to let her give the space to others.” I’m enjoying this. Dhalia POVJax and Blake head out, leaving me alone in this amazing room with Chase. I’m overwhelmed as I take in every detail. The space is nothing short of magical, and I’m not sure where to begin. The sight of the bookshelves alone is enough to make my heart race. Each shelf is meticulously organised, and as I scan them, I see countless titles I’ve always wanted to read but never had the chance to buy. And then there are books I’ve never even heard of, their spines there telling me that something amazing awaits inside of them.A smile creeps onto my face as I notice the careful arrangement. The books are organised into categories that reveal an understanding of my interests I never thought anyone could possess. I glance at Chase, whose playful grin matches my own.“We figured we would organise it for you,” Chase says, his tone light-hearted as he gestures towards the shelves. “Here’s your alien collection. Dhalia POV Blake pulls me to him and begins to remove my clothes as I remove his. My mouth nibbles at his neck, kissing, licking and nipping at the flesh. He groans and pulls me closer, his cock already hard. My hand wraps around his dick, slowly stroking along it. I feel like I'm crazy for doing this, but it feels so right, and perfect as well. Sure, people will see it was wrong, but we don't care. Kissing down his body, I stop at his cock, my tongue licking along it before swirling around the tip. I want to tease him for a bit first rather than giving in entirely at the start and giving him everything. So I suck against his cock, before my mouth pops off it. "Fuck, Angel..." he groans, raising his hips as I continue to tease him. "Don't fuck-Ing taunt!" His groans get louder as I taunt him more. "Please!" He said it so nicely, so desperately, that I gave up on teasing and taunting him. Reaching to the side of the bed, I grab the toy. I fasten it on, sliding one side into my puss

I could have fallen asleep earlier, now though? I’ve got too much energy. Grabbing the book I sit down and begin reading it. About ten minutes later, the movement of the door has me turning to it. Chase walks in with a smile. “So, I found a book.” Really? “You found a smut book that involves a frickin unicorn?” He nods. “I did very well, thank you.” Wait, no! “Pink unicorn, it has to be a pink unicorn.” I watch as he sighs and sits beside me. “Pink is impossible! • Accidentally Kidnapping The Don   Life

Dhalia POV After shopping today, I felt a sense of relief I hadn’t experienced in what felt like forever. It wasn’t just about the shopping itself, though I did need some new clothes—my body has changed so much in the past year. No, it was more about finally getting out of the house, about reclaiming a little bit of the freedom I’d been missing. The walls of our home, which once felt like a sanctuary, had started to close in on me. Chase and Jax, in their well-meaning but intense desire to protect me and ensure I had time to heal, ended up suffocating me without even realising it. Don’t get me wrong—I love them for how much they care, but I didn’t need to be housebound for months, or placed on bed rest for weeks after giving birth. I know some women would relish the idea of doing nothing but resting and being pampered, but it drove me crazy. That’s why, when Chase casually mentioned going shopping, I jumped at the opportunity. I was out the door and in the car before he could even t

  • Accidentally Kidnapping The Don   Family

Chase POVI watched Dhalia as she moved through the store, her steps light and full of purpose, and it hit me—I might have gone too far. In our well-intentioned but overzealous efforts to protect her and Jacob, Jax and I had smothered her. When I casually mentioned the idea of going shopping, I expected a discussion, maybe some hesitation. But instead, she practically bolted for the door, grabbing her coat and leaving without a word. That was proof enough. We had suffocated her under the guise of safety and care.Seeing her so happy to be out, to be free to do something as simple as shopping, was a wake-up call. We had reduced her life to the confines of our home, restricting her to the roles of mother and partner, leaving little room for her to just be herself. That’s why I suggested she could return to work if she wanted to. Jax may not like the idea—he’s still riding the wave of his overprotectiveness—but after more than six months of keeping her tethered, it’s time we give her bac

  • Accidentally Kidnapping The Don   Happiness

Blake POV The last few months have been a whirlwind, a mental and emotional gauntlet that none of us expected. It wasn’t the physical demands that took their toll on me—it was the psychological strain, the constant push and pull of trying to navigate our lives while Chase and Jax became increasingly overprotective of Dhalia. My attempts to ground them in reality often felt futile, like trying to anchor a ship in the middle of a storm. Dhalia, poor Dhalia, bore the brunt of their overzealous protection. At five months pregnant, they decided it was too dangerous for her to continue working. Mind you, her job was sitting in a cozy little bookstore, reading and managing sales. There wasn’t anything remotely strenuous about it, but they convinced themselves—and her—that it was unsafe. It seemed harmless enough at first, just a precaution. But by the time she hit seven months, their obsession to shield her and the baby from every possible harm became all-consuming. They wouldn’t let her

  • Accidentally Kidnapping The Don   Perfect

Jax POVAs I sit on the couch, the book resting on my lap, I find myself absorbed not so much in the story itself but in the little marks I’ve made throughout its pages. These marks have become something of an obsession for me. They’re the places where I’ve seen Dhalia react—whether it’s a quiet gasp, a tear rolling down her cheek, or that subtle squirm of excitement that she can’t quite hide. Whenever she reads with me in the room, and I catch one of those reactions, I make sure to mark the page number. Later, when she’s done, I go back and read those specific sections, trying to decode what it is about these words that stirs something inside her.It all started small. At first, I only marked the pages that elicited a blush or a quiet moan—scenes of sex that clearly struck a chord. It didn’t take long to realise that it wasn’t just those moments that mattered to her. She would also react to the tender, the heartbreaking, and the unexpectedly sweet moments with an equal, if not more p

I’m trying to be patient, but it’s harder than I’d like to admit. Two months ago, I opened my bookstore, and it’s been incredible. Twice a week, we host book clubs, and I’ve made it a point to bring one of the guys with me to each session. It’s hilarious watching their faces as we dive into the discussions. The women seem to enjoy it too—something about discussing steamy romance scenes with a bit of eye candy in the room. The door finally creaks open, and I sit up straighter as they walk in.“You’re late,” I say, trying to keep a straight face.“By fifteen minutes, Angel. Cut us some slack.” Blake winks, leaning down to kiss me. His hand reaches for one of the boxes, but I slap it away.“Don’t touch.”He chuckles, rolling his eyes.“Why do I get the feeling we’re in trouble, Sweetness?” Jax asks as

We wanted her to be in control and do it all alone without our input and she has."I've got something to show you," she grips my hand and guides me back through to the book store part, walking through she stops by some books, and hands me one. There, on the cover is a pink fucking unicorn. She found one? I stare at her and she laughs."Pink unicorn," she smiles up at me."You're fucking crazy, you read it?" Although we take care of a lot of them. She wasn't comfortable taking over the strip clubs, bars, and such. So we sort a lot of it out for her. She straightens my tie and I chuckle. Her arms wrap around my neck and she reaches on her toes to kiss my lips."I love you Sweetness," I whisper as I wrap my arms around her and pull her closer.
