We’ve been sitting here for a while now, and the conversation has stayed light. The guys have been asking me about my hobbies—if I have any other interests besides reading. It feels comfortable, almost normal, but there’s an underlying tension I can’t quite shake.

“Let’s discuss what happened,” Chase suddenly says, turning to face me directly. My heart skips a beat. Does he mean this morning?

Blake clears his throat and begins. “Keeley had hidden cameras in our rooms and yours. That’s where the images came from, that’s how she knew the stories. She must have put them in the first night.”

I nod slowly, the weight of what he’s saying sinking in. “I’m sorry,” I murmur, feeling the need to apologise. When it came to Keeley, I vouched for her. I said she was trustworthy, and they trusted me to know her. But I didn’t—clearly, I had no idea who Keeley truly was.
