TCG: Chapter 15

I burst into Evander's office, and he looked up from his phone with his legs up on the table. So much for doing paperwork.

"Don't you ever, and I mean ever, talk to my son when I'm not there!" I screamed as I slammed my hand on the desk; seeing his feet up on that desk pissed me off further, and I pushed them off. "And don't tell him to keep things from me."

"But I only talk to him when you're around Amanah," he defended with a smile. "It isn't my fault that you're always zoned out when I do, and I don't know what you mean when you say keep things from you?"

"You—" I gritted, annoyed. This man pressed my fucking buttons, and I hated him! I screamed as I kicked down the chair. "Just stay away from us!"

"Careful there, you're starting to move things," he said as he pointed to the bottle that moved next to me.

"What the fuck?" I gasped, scared, and watched as it fell down and shattered. "There's fucking ghosts here?"
