Amanah

“I HATE YOU!” I screamed at Miall as my tears rolled down my cheeks. “All you do is lie and lie to me,” I groaned angrily as I pushed him away.

“Amanah, let me explain,” he said calmly as he tried to reach for me, but I slapped his hands away.

“Explain? Of course, the great Miall is innocent; he didn’t do anything wrong, and I’m just being delusional. Here I am screaming my lungs out with my makeup stained by my tears in a stupid hotel room because nothing happened! Right,” I nodded as I kicked the chair away.

“Amanah, calm down!”

“No! I don’t want to calm down. It’s always something with you. Get out; leave me alone!” I breathed out heavily.

“Why do you keep pushing me away?” His voice broke as his shoulders sagged. “Don’t make me leave you, please,” he begged.

“Don’t lock me out, baby, please,” he cried as he kneeled and forcefully hugged me. His tears soaked my chest, and I stared straight ahead.

I'm not about to fall victim to those tears; he had all this time to tell m

Sometimes, I wish I never had to become Luna, and Willow did because the work was a terrible amount of pressure, and I was tired!I would rather stay home all day and run after my children since it was easier and more fun than signing off documents regarding scholarships in acting—actually—that was important.I want to be a housewife!I hated how I was such a responsible Luna who cared about the future of her people, who were not even her species. I hated how I dug this hole for myself by suggesting the idea of a life which was more than patrolling the borders or just carrying children for men and yourself sometimes. And here, sometimes is rare. Anyway, I also hated how Lunaria was always up in my ear or how she was glaring hard at me right now. Tired of her stares, I threw a crumbled paper at the chair she sat on and watched her displayed image disappear into thin air.Ugh."It takes more than crumbled paper to get rid of me," she mocked as she sat on my desk. I ignored her, grabbed

"Why are you burying yourself in more work?" Anin asked as she opened the door to my office. Dressed in a tight-fit brown dress, showing she was ready for tonight."Because there is a lot of work to be done," I said as I lifted my head from the paperwork. While technology has advanced since I came here, papers made me feel like I was working."You have to get ready, you know," she said as she dropped herself on the couch and crossed her legs.I whistled as I crossed my arms over the desk and stared at her; Anin hadn't aged a day since I met her. Her brown skin was without wrinkles, and it seemed smooth the more I looked at her."What?" She raised her eyebrows, which were perfectly shaped, full of hair, and perfectly trimmed. Her blue eyes shone brightly in this dim office, and her plump lips were lightly glossed."Are you okay, love?" She asked, a bit more worriedly now.I smiled and nodded, leaning back on my chair."You look great," I whispered, and I could tell she heard me because

Miall"Are you okay, man?" Malakhi asked as he passed me a bottle of water. These meetings were getting ridiculous; how many leadership summits should we have before all the nations agree on one thing?"I'm tired of this," I muttered. I wanted to say that I wanted to go home to my wife and children and to hell with this summit."Tell me about it. I just got off a call with Anin, and she was getting ready for Amanah's anniversary. She was so gorgeous, but I couldn't get a word out because of how pissed I am at these summits.""That's today?" I was disappointed. I wanted to be there for her anniversary; my baby had worked her ass off and made me so proud of the leader she had become."Yeah, they specifically chose today because you wouldn't be there to distract Amanah," he said cheekily, and I scoffed."Hey, I'm not the one organising these meetings. Don't take your frustrations out on me," I said, and he sighed, shaking his head."You're the one who appointed me beta. Right now, I would

AmanahI groaned as I pulled the bed sheet over my head. Why is there so much light in this room?My throat felt sore. I had a raging headache; it had been so long since I got incredibly drunk. I must've had an amazing night. Chuckling, I threw the blanket off my body and slowly got up."Good to see you're finally up," my head slowly turned to look at Miall, and I was shocked. When did he get here?"Oh, I'm still tired," I whispered generically as I pulled the blankets over my body and faced the other side.Did I call him by mistake? Most things were a bit hazy, but I didn't remember calling Miall. How much does he know? Will he scold me?What if he knew I drank a whole jar of alcohol? Oh no, he'll think I'm a functional alcoholic, and I'm neither!A core memory made its way to me, and I once again threw off the blanket and stared at Miall."You shouted at me last night," I pointed a finger at him. My headache decided to humble me, and I winced, touching my left eye."Here you go," he

"Emsra, please bring me the meeting notes," I said as I passed her desk, focused on the brief I was reading on the tablet."Looks like things are going to get busy around here," Lunaria murmured as she sat before me."What do you want? I'm working," I asked as I scrolled through the briefing. "The epsilon's must be out of their minds; how in the world can we afford another express trip for their children's spoilt asses?"Miall and I were Alpha and Luna, but you didn't see our kids taking a trip to the land of dragons just for fun. They'd love to go, but they can't!"Nothing, I grew bored this weekend," she said as she cupped her face. I raised my head and took in her appearance."So you thought you should come bother—woah," I whispered. "You look different.""Yeah, I had to get rid of just the bra and skirt. So I took mental images of all your outfits and came up with this," she said as she pointed to her dress and braided hair.Oh, if only life could be made up of mental images, how

"Baby, do you have everything packed?" Miall shouted, and I quickly closed my laptop and pulled on my sunhat.Fuck."Yeah, I'm coming," I shouted as I shoved it into my bag. "Could we stop by the council first and get those forms?" I asked as I joined him in the living room."No," he said without giving it a thought. "And get that laptop out of your bag," he pointed to the beach bag I held firmly close to my side."What laptop?" I looked away."Amanah," he crossed his arms over his chest, and I groaned, taking out the device and putting it on the coffee table."Including all those files in there," he said, and I pouted. "Out, now."Oh, come on!"I really need to read about the introduction of the new laws, or else I'll be so unprepared when we come back," I begged, and he shook his head."It's our anniversary, and you should focus only on me." Oh? Is the seduction already starting?"But Miall," I whined, and he took the bag from me and emptied it."Jesus, Amanah, you don't have anythin

"Do you wanna take a shower together?" I asked Miall as I lifted my head from his lap."Yes," he agreed immediately as he slid his hands under my neck and knees, respectively, walking us to the bathroom. He sat me down on the vanity and grunted. "Arms."I lifted my arms, and he tore off his shirt; I looked at the buttons popping off in horror. Why would he do that?"Ah," I squeaked, looking at the shirt. "I liked this one," I whispered, and he shrugged."I have more husband shirts for you," he blushed, and I smiled, touching his ears. He kissed my fingers and leaned towards me. "It's really taking everything in me not to jump on you right now," he whispered in my ear, and I laughed, hugging him."If you do that, you might squash me to death," I whispered back, and he snorted as he leaned back."Let's take a shower, yes?""Yes," I nodded as he walked us to the shower and opened the water."What the heck!" I screamed as I felt the cold water rush over me. Miall only smirked and coyly apo

My stomach fluttered as I watched him close his eyes and softly kiss my lips. Was he always this attractive? Definitely, but this attractive? I swear it was the first I was seeing this.I bit down on my hand as he latched onto my clit and sucked on it tenderly. My toes curled slightly as I pushed down my hips toward him"Sit still," he looked up at me, and if I could do summersaults right now, I would. Seeing Miall so turned on made my heart beat faster, and his darkened eyes made me wetter.Running his tongue down my lips, I clenched my fists to stop myself from moving around. He pushed my thighs higher and kept a firm grip on them as he ate me out."Miall," I moaned, feeling funny. His fingers dug into my skin as his tongue reached as far as it could, which was further than my fingers ever could.Miall pulled my hand, took two of my fingers and pressed them to my centre."Touch yourself," he said huskily, looking at me, and shock took over my body, but the lust was just as strong. I asked Amanah as she held Amira and Auri's hands. They were dressed in matching pink sun dresses, and Amanah wore a cute hat while the twins rocked pink bow hairpins. My girls are beautiful!"We're going on a girl's date," Amanah said as she smiled. "We're just waiting on Maniah.""Alright, let me get my keys, and we'll go together," I said as I pointed to the kitchen, and the girls voiced their opinions."No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no," Auri shook her head as she waved her small hands."You stay right here," Amari warned as she pointed a finger at me."It's a girl's date, Dad," Maniah said as she passed me; unlike the three, she wore jeans and an oversized hoodie."What are you wearing?" Her mother asked as she took in her attire. "I thought we agreed on wearing sun dresses?""No, the three of you agreed on wearing pink clothes, and I agreed to come along," Maniah shrugged as she raised her book.Amanah pouted and rolled her eyes."Teenagers," s

"Woah, it's really her," I heard as I felt tiny fingers touch my face and giggles. What's going on?"When was the last time we saw her?" Another voice sniffled, and I heard a thud."Stop crying, Kenji," a softer voice said as she hiccupped."What are you all doing here? She's resting," that voice.I knew it all too well.It belonged to the owner of the phone that was in my pocket.Wait a minute, where are my pockets? I touched my sides and felt a soft, silky material covering my body.Waking up, I blinked as I stared at the ceiling."She's up. Shhh," one of them said, a younger male. Two faces that looked alike stared at me with gummy smiles, and I frowned."Why did you guys put Amira and Auri on her bed?" Miall scolded as he walked closer to the bed."They just climbed on their own. They're old enough to do that already," the soft voice said as she took the other baby away from me.Sitting up, I held my head and groaned, feeling a slight ache. I wiped the counter thoughtlessly as I stared ahead. On all the days this bar could be empty, it chose today?Only a few regulars were here and none of them were exciting."You should plaster a smile on that face, Amanah," I stared at Frank with an annoyed look, and he laughed as he flipped the cocktail shaker in the air and caught it with his right hand behind his back, show off."What are you even doing here?""I came to help," I whined as I leaned against the counter and stared at Frank as he worked."You're scaring my customers away; look attractive," he scolded, and I widened my eyes."But I am attractive," I pulled my overalls and stared at him, disappointed. "Anyway, I had this dream, right," I started excitedly, and he put his hand up."Tell me all about it after you serve that customer over there. He only ever comes here whenever you visit," he said, and I raised my eyebrow."So you think it's safe for me to go serve a potential stalker?""Uh, yes. I have bills to pay, Miss Mi

Third Person"What caused you to wake up, Supreme Goddess?" Seifer asked as he stood up from his kneeling position."All the persons I created from my guilt have finally passed on, so that freed me from my prison," Lunaria smiled as she answered."Are you really free from your guilt?" Ylil asked as she glared at Lunaria."No," Lunaria answered simply. "Are you free from your guilt, Ylil?" She asked as she stared into her eyes."I have none," Ylil bit out, and Lunaria nodded as she looked around her temple."That is sad," she whispered. Her eyes landed on Miall, who was still having a hard time breathing. He pressed his head on the ground, writhing in pain."You're the one that's sad!" Ylil shouted, and all the other gods gave her a warning look.Even though they didn't agree with Lunaria's decisions, they still were obligated to protect her."I know," Lunaria said as she kept her eyes on Miall's form. "What's wrong with them?" She asked as she pointed to Miall. "Why have you sealed Ori

Lunaria POV"Are you just gonna stand by the door?" I asked. The day was so heavy today and I was truly exhausted. I lay on my bed face-front refraining from screaming."It's so crazy how you've become so aware of everything since you became the Supreme Goddess," Orion chuckled as he entered my room."I have eyes everywhere now," I said. "And they're all weeping," I whispered as I got up and faced him."Come on, it's not that bad," he smiled as he sat beside me, and pressed a soft kiss on my shoulder. "You're just under a lot of stress.""I really thought I'd just be a disciple at best, Ylil is most suited for this role," I said as I leaned against him."You've been saying that for three years already, but you were chosen for this role because you have something Ylil doesn't have," he said as he massaged my head."What is it that I have besides being terrible at making decisions? I'm not even a scholar," I grumbled. "That feels really good," I sighed closing my eyes."You're empathetic.

Orion held my hips as we kissed in the dark alleyway, his hands slowly trailing down my thighs to my ass, where he gently squeezed.Lifting me up and pressing against the wall, he grunted as he sucked on my tongue and pressed himself against me.I moaned as his hand rubbed my thigh softly, his teeth bit into my bottom lip, and I pressed my chest against his.Pulling away from the kiss, Orion stared at me with drunk eyes, and I believe I gave him just a lust-filled gaze. Without saying anything, he helped me down and held my hand, guiding me through the alleyway.Orion would occasionally squeeze my hand, and I would squeeze his back just to let him know I was okay. I couldn't believe that had happened. Was he mad? Did he like it as much as I did? I want to kiss again.Biting onto my bottom lip, I sighed softly, feeling the pain from his bite. Orion turned around and stared at my lips. Moving in closer, he held my chin and released my bottom lip from between my teeth."Don't do that," he

She whispered as she held me tighter."Seriously bad," I whispered, feeling the tears form."I probably will just be a normal human by next month," I gulped as I roughly wiped my tears."Aria," she said softly."Enough about me, how was the exam for you!?""Hmm, it was okay," she nodded and I knew she was saying it was okay so that I wouldn't have to feel alone."It was super easy, wasn't it?" I asked her, smiling, and she clenched her teeth."Yeah, sorry," she whispered, and I laughed, shaking my head."You don't have to be sorry that I was born a bit dumber than you," I joked, and she stopped walking, looking furious. "Where's Amanah?"Looking at Ylil, she had an unreadable expression as she held Auri in her arms, and Miall stared out the broken window blankly.Evander ran downstairs.Reaching where she had fallen, his steps slowed as he looked around the courtyard."What the?" He panicked as he looked for her. "Where is she?" He looked up at the third floor, wondering if he had been deceived."Hmm?" Ylil groaned as she looked at the spot where Amanah's lifeless body was supposed to be."Where is she?" She gritted as she stared at Evander."I should be asking you! I knew you were a sketchy bitch the moment you showed up," Evander roared, pointing his finger at Ylil. It's just stone," I shrugged, and he sighed as he dropped his head."Just stone?" He squeaked out as he kicked a rock on the ground. "She's just stone!""Maybe it needs sacrifice?" I tried, and he looked at me, amused but mostly annoyed."What kind of crappy neighbourhood did you grow up in? Sacrifice? No, her stone body won't crack because her soul isn't here anymore," he said as he pointed between me and the stone."Well, where is her soul?" I asked, amused at how stressed he was about all of this."It was in you. It's probably buried deep somewhere in all that anguish you keep to yourself.""Anguish?" I asked, smiling.
