I lay on the sofa and just stared at the ceiling emptily. How did my perfect life turn this way? I had a good job before, bought my dream apartment, had my first car, living my life comfortably with freedom and without fear of getting killed. Now, all those had gone. I was fired, my apartment was sold without my will, and I had to abandon my car because Ricky could track it and had to live my life in hiding due to fear of Ricky's enemies. Everything went downhill the moment Carina got into our life. It felt like falling into an abyss.
