Two Important Lives

Luke stared at his phone, it has not been long since he made payment to the Grey and he is expecting the result soon. He chewed on his lower lip and rotated to and fro on his seat.

His grandfather came in without his notice. The old man was aware that he had made payment to the guy he met earlier in the day and had made a plan to sort things out on his own.

"Luke, dear."

He called out and Luke looked up at him and managed a smile.

"Grandfather, you are here, please sit down."

His grandfather sat down as he was told.

"Luke, I want you to accompany me to a place."

"Sure grandfather, anytime you are ready, I am ready."

"That's great. We should leave now because it is a matter of urgency."

The old man said and stood up.

"I will be waiting for you outside"

He said and left. Luke sighed and stood up. Why would he not be angry with his grandfather because he has done more than enough, therefore, he would be the good grandson he has always been in his presence.
