CHAPTER THIRTEEN: LIVELY ROSE

     The morning was shining as bright as it had always, if not brighter than normal. Aurora woke up to the reminiscing of the previous day, Neville’s touch on her skin, his blue hues eyes. His blissful kisses, the way her body responded to her, she noticed her body was arching to her thoughts of him. She hadn’t felt this way to any being before, and she wondered the magic his fingers could create. Her mind went to the different possible way he could make her feel, but she was yet to understand why she was drawn to him this bad. Not wanting to be in her thoughts, she got up to refresh for day.

‘I so need this extra rest’, she said.

‘Am so thankful Neville was thoughtful to give me a day off’, she added.

She did some  stretches to aid her in releasing some of her stiff joints, working hadn’t given her much time to workout or actively stretch. She slept well into the morning, feeling rejuvenated, she took a walk around estate to ease her joints. She thought on the time and location her dates was to occur, Neville hadn’t texted her, though she had been expecting one from him. Just as she was in her thoughts, her phone buzzed in her pocket,

‘ Good morning goddess, I hope you dreamt about me, as I wished so earnestly to the heavens to be in it. I’ll pick you up by noon, a casual outfits will be  best for today’s date', it read.

She smiled reading the text, if only he knew he owned her thoughts, she laughed and continued her walk, while thinking about him. 

‘ I have little time to get ready before Neville arrive’, she exclaimed after she just got back from her walk. She had to think of what to wear, even tho it was a casual date, she wanted to make a statement, she had always loved making heads turn more especially to someone she was attracted to. She walked into her wardrobe round sacking all her sections , looking for the right outfit.

'Haa! I can’t seem to get the right outfit, I just have to settle for one’s, she exclaimed.

After selecting what she could settle for, she got up to start preparing for her date. Meanwhile, Neville was home thinking how best to make their date memorable, he fidgeted around his big, spacious room, which had a passage to an inner room; his home office. Neville lived in a penthouse at the heart of the city, he stayed alone but wanted a really spacious home, he enjoyed having his space. His home was built with top notch Hebe technology, it was pure white with strictly grey interior design. Wanting to have a bottle of water to cool his anxiety, he clicked his compartment button, which ensured his bedroom floor is lowered to his sitting room, which his kitchen shared a section with. Coming off to his sitting room, he pushed his compartment button to take his bedroom floor up, he got a glass of water and sat on his couch thinking of the best way to make Aurora enjoy the city. The news on the TV of the fair happening within  town got his attention and right there he got ideas to ensure she had the best experience ever.

    Aurora was finally dressed, she opted for a black shrewd jeans, with a sleeveless peach leather top to go with her black leather jacket, she wished to wear heels but she knew that was going to be a bad idea; therefore the need for her to wear a more comfortable footwear, she went with a black sneakers and a cross bag to aid her carry her few stuffs. She went big on her accessories, packed up the front section of her hair, while letting the back fall off, she went light on the makeup as she was going for a more natural look. As she stared into the mirror, she was satisfied with her look. She walked around her home and for the first time she noticed the decorations on the ceiling, it was magnificent, it had the hidden stories of all parallel universe. She felt it was a great design for a royal home, while walking around to kill time as she was waiting for Neville, Kingsley came around the corner. Taking a thorough look at her, he wandered where she was off to, he knew it couldn’t be her formal explore habit she created during her initial time in the universe, as the task the king handed over to her had taken much of her time. Plus she looks too cute for just an hobby, then he hit him that she didn’t go to work today which wasn’t normal. His curiosity got to him and he wanted to find out what was going on.

‘You looking way too good for a regular, what’s happening baby sis?' Kingsley asked.

Aurora was in shock, she wasn’t expecting him to be home, knowing that their trip date was fast approaching, she assumed he would be busier than usual. She didn’t know how he would take the truth or if she should just twist the facts, but she knew for sure he would need an answer.

‘I didn’t see you there big bro, while I have got a date tonight', she opted for the truth. 

That shocked him, of all weird response he was expecting from his sister, a date was the last thing in his mind, knowing fully aware of their condition. He wasn’t expecting her to dabble deep into such controversy circumstances. Aurora could sense his fear and she understood it perfectly but she didn’t plan for any of these, it just happened, she thought.  

‘Is that safe enough', Kingsley said, not able to suppress his .

‘I don’t think it’s of any harm’, she responded, wishing that would calm him down. 

Just as they were conversing, Neville walked in, wearing a black jeans with a block top with his wine leather jacket. Seeing it was Neville, this caused an eyebrow raising from Kingsley and he became more worried about his baby sister. They all starred at themselves, Kingsley seeing the matching outfits was scared that probably this was going to far, while the love birds were thinking of the possibility of their similar choice of wear. 

‘Be careful’, Kingsley whispered to Aurora, not wanting to cause a scene. 

She nodded and smiled before she walked towards Neville. Kingsley waved at Neville and walked away. While Neville and Aurora went to their ride.
