ROSALIND LIGHTWOOD★

As the days went by, Jeremy and I grew more distant, barely exchanging a word. I was someone who is typically unfazed by others' opinions of me, but Jeremy's aloofness towards me left a lingering sense of melancholy.

"Boss, are you listening?" Lauren's question jolted me back to reality as I stared at the box containing Jason's suit.

"Are you okay? You weren't listening to me," she inquired, concern evident in her voice.

Returning the suit to him could potentially lead to further miscommunication between us.

"You've been fixated on Mr. Jason's suit..." She gasped, turning towards me.

"...what did he do to you?" She exclaimed.

"Do you want to risk getting fired?" I asked, causing her to quickly regain her composure.

"Tell the workers to remove the outdated dresses and fix the ones I inspected this morning," I instructed before returning to my tasks. I let out a sigh as I heard her voice once more.

"I heard Mr. Jason is now one of the managing directors at Lightwoo
